BFG is a remarkable performer. No quit in that guy and playing internationally on a regular trek. Love that band. Keep on trucking, Billy and Dusty and Frank will always live on.

I was lucky enough to meet Billy, Chris Layton (Steve's Ray Vaughn's drummer) and Mike "The Drifter" Flanigin when Billy was touring with them as the Billy Gibbons and the BFGs. Billy was very mum when we met, but Chris as Mike were quite jovial and talkative. All three are are Texas Legends. (four including me! lol )

Sadly, I never got to see ZZ Top with Dusty, but I did see them with Frank and Elwood back in 2023.

Same here, I lived 5 miles from them. (Forrest Hill area) I grew up in South Fort Worth and we used to go see them every other weekend at Joe's Garage. It was too much of a trek to go to Dallas City Limits on the off-weekends that they weren't at Joe's Garage.

Joe's Garage was 5 miles from my house. I was there practically every weekend.We would go see them at The Basement in Dallas when they played there.
