2025 Salary cap projection given to teams

When the cap goes up QB contracts go up. Look for Purdy to top Dak’s folks.
Or his contract won’t. After Burrow mentioned a team that handles the salary cap right, and claims to be willing to work on the structure of his contract to help his team, the Niners may use that appeal in negotiations with Purdy and get him to agree to a similar deal as the one the recent Super Bowl winning quarterback agreed to a couple of years ago.

Are some of yall to naive to understand inflation? Guess who also knows the salary cap went up? Yep, the players! So guys who last year wanted 5 million, this year they get 10. Micah just went from 30 to 35 or 37. The cap going up doesn’t mean we get to watch Steven bring in an extra FA or two, it just means the guys we would’ve brought in for 1.2 million are not going to get 2.5 million.

Smarten up fellas, it’s embarrassing!
They can sign whoever they want and push money into the future.

Again lets not misstate what Burrow said. In that very interview all he is talking about doing is restructuring his contract which is NOT taking less. Dak has restructured multiple times and likely will multiple times during this deal. Burrow even says IN that interview that Eagles paying everyone seems to show that it is both possible and a successful formula.

More pie, boys.

March is gonna be nuts.
Sorry RS, March is gonna be nuts????? LOL!!! I don't think so, not with the num-nuts we have running the player side of this organization into the ground. We'll stand pat until the last cuts, then JJ and his two boils will go dumpster driving for bottom-feeder FAs. One has to wonder why his plans never work...........LOL!

I said “structure”. My point is the approach to Purdy will be it’s important to agree to a deal that allows us to do the kinds of things Burrow suggests should be done, roster-wise. Fact is SF did surround Purdy with as much talent as Hurts has and Purdy didn’t win a Super Bowl. Perhaps a contract similar to Hurts’ is appropriate. Not $60+ million AAV.

They are more likely making some moves early this year. They will have plenty to spend.
