Are you up or down on O this season?

i've always been a bit of an optimist, and things (in football) just never seem to work out best case. so it's tough.

he has the spirit, attitude and work ethic to beat the odds, i am just not betting on it.

prepare for thew worst and hope for the best.

Barring the typical devastating injuries, the O-line should be more stabilized with most players in the stage if their career where they are constantly improving as cohesive unit.

The question is the level of talent of the offensive skill players taken in the draft. Will this be the Cowboys goal or will they use their top p[locks to shore up the defense?

If the Cowboys were to use two of their first three picks to select a receiver and runningback then that could really ignite their offense in the same way as the Lions a few drafts ago.

I really like O and think he should be ready by the second half of the season. My concern is for how long. He plays full speed and all out which I really like. Dallas’ best LB. I just hope luck is on his side going forward. Been a fan of his since his Texas days.

None of us can know, but it was a bad injury so I’m not particularly optimistic

Overshown had surgery Dec. 18 to address ACL, MCL and PCL tears in his right knee. He said his recovery timeline is nine months, not ruling out a Week 1 appearance, although the timing and severity of his injury mean it won't come as any surprise if he isn't ready for the start of the season. The 2024 third-round pick had a fantastic rookie year pre-injury, starting 12 of his 13 games and recording 90 tackles, five sacks, four pass defenses, one interception, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. Overshown even had four games in which he played every defensive snap and four others at 85 percent or higher, earning a three-down role within the first month of his pro career. Would be almost like having excessive talent at the position for quite some time so I'm up on Overshown this season even if he is not ready by game 1 his rehab has been positive.
If you know anything about severe knee injuries then you know how this is going to play out.

He should be back in 2026 and not rushed onto the field and hopefully we get a player who can start and contribute. All the rest is hype right now.

I dont see him playing this season.

Walking straight forward doesnt mean a lot with that kind of injury. Lets first see how the tissue reacts after heavier load.

Down - as in sit down for the whole year for him to fully heal and strengthen. Too much upside to not be cautious.

down.
I don't think Guyton is any good at LT. Steele is going to continue to suck and we don't have Martin replacement.

assuming we draft a RB, how much better running game is going to get? and we don't have answer at #2 WR and TE is a mess. Dak is 32. coming off injury.
not looking good.

both washington and Philly are ahead of us. our best is 3rd in the division. this offense will be average.

Sadly I don't see him being the player he was and who's to say the injury bug isn't going to bite again?
I would give him and Prescott the same fifty-fifty chance of making it through the season without further issues. In fact it might be 40/60. Especially for Dak

Whats the prediction of when Agent 0 will take the field? Hopefully sooner rather than later. Can he actually start the season or another dreaded PUP week to week. Love this kid

It was a brutal knee injury,if does not start on PUP I would be extremely surprised, TBH I would be surprised if he is playing by mid-season.

jaylon smith production for a few years and then take a nose dive and we are left carrying the bag for the contract jerry is going to give him.

He'll get back in 2025 around midseason. He won't be close to the previous productivity until 2026.

Sadly, I don't think he will ever be the same after two injuries like that.
