Bengals Burrow willing alter deal, lauds Eagles cap control, should Dak

He is not talking about taking less. He is talking about taking the same amount but converting salary to signing bonus to lower the cap. Dak has done that multiple times and likely will over the course of this contract.

Edit: He even points out IN that article "The Eagles are paying everybody. That seems to be the way."
SHhhhhhh... you're going to ruin it for the majority of people who don't actually read the articles!!!

Stalk you? What a drama queen. You posted a garbage link that did not support your position at all and made you look like a fool. Nothing more nothing less.

Sure. Some did pick the Bucs in a very close game based on their recent past and Brady. Anyone who had actually paid attention, including me and many others here, could see the Bucs had flaws and were not very good.

But anyways. My point wasn't about who did or did not pick the Bucs in that game. My point was to point out how badly you clowned yourself, because that is exactly what you did.

You're welcome.
I made a mistake. Playas mess up. It won’t be the first nor last. So your goal wasn’t to disagree with me your goal was to point out how badly I clowned myself…basically stalking?

Burrow isn’t offering to take less lol altering it isn’t cutting it. He’s literally offering to do what Dak has done multiple times and players do all the time. That’s why voidable years are built into most big deals
Who said he was?
I just explained what 'should Qak" means.
And gave my answer. Actually it appears most everyone and their grandma thinks Qak should take less reading the board.

I applaud your continued faith. When Qak retires Super Bowl-less you owe us all a beer, okay?

lol for real. this is a non story article and literally nothing new or praiseworthy.

Joe burrow isn’t taking less. No player takes less unless it’s the end of their career. It’s not about supporting Dak but to say Joe burrow is taking less money to help the team is just factually wrong

No he doesn't. He is historically one of the cheapest owners in the NFL.
This. Mike Brown is like Stephen Jones times two.

And also this.

Burrow bought a $3M Batmobile, for crying out loud. He's spending money, not giving it back the owner.

wrong, he's gonna make every bit as much money or more then devante Smith they're in the same position.. I mean I don't know how you don't see it he's going to be demanding like 30.. I mean what did Brandon Ayuk get? he's not a frontline starter he's in between he's a good starter 1B, I that's what even a number 2 is going for right now but if he gets on a team that clearly needs a number one, I don't know like New England he's going to make 30,

that's why they can't keep him, they could keep him for 22 million.... But when it comes to the Bengals not getting ahead of it you remember that's what they talk about here I don't know how they let jamar chase get to this point and now he had one of his best seasons one of the better seasons by any wide receiver now they're really going to have to open up the paycheck and they're not going to be able to afford both of them apparently they're slower than the jones family on signing contracts...

Exactly… It seems like some fans think that players actually lose money when they agree to restructure their deals to open cap space.

The Cowboys structured Daks deal in such a way that they can now hide behind being up against the cap… but the reality is that a simple restructure of Dak and all of a sudden you go from -4m to +35M in team cap space. We have multiple other candidates that could get us up even further… Much further…Our GM is a gutless grifter.

To be frank, I don't want Dak to be restructured. I want him off the team, at least at his $60M//yr price point. Locking him in for longer just means we lose for longer.

The ability to convert money to a signing bonus is normally already part of the deal so most teams do not have to ask a player to agree to this after the deal is signed. Stephen does this a lot.

Are we seriously comparing Joe Burrow to Dak Prescott? The difference here is that Burrow doing this helps with the Bengals flexibility to retain talent. Dak doing this will allow for the same but we still have a hole at the QB spot.
This!

No. He's played kick the can, but he's never taken less money. Can't ever remember Qak suggesting he would take less if it meant a Super Bowl appearance.
Burrow isn’t taking less money. He’s not suggesting he take less money. He’s offering to do exactly what Dak did.

Players can’t “give back money” and there have only been two QBs in the last 15 years who took less than market. Both at the end of their career. Brady and Rodger’s.
