I don't think it is a coincidence that all we hear from the new coaching staff is fixing the run game. If I didn't know better, I would think they have a mandate from Jerry to take the ball out of Dak's hand as much as possible. Rebuild the offense around a strong dominant running game.

I wouldn’t say biggest choker, but they have a proven penchant to hold onto their starting QB longer than any other team, seemingly regardless of accolades

Cowboys are more loyal to their home grown players than just about any team in the league. We’ve all talked about this before, but no stat shows it more than this one.
Good point. Only Dak and Purdy are beyond the 2nd round. And honestly, Carr and Geno won’t be starters much longer. That leaves only Hurts and all 1st rounders.
