I don't think he should be HOF. What hall of fame player can you remove one play, and they wouldn't be HOF? If Eli doesn't get that helmet catch, he's not even considered in the HOF. So no. IMO HOF is for stand out players, not occasional good players.

Eli was a solid bus driver on some great defensive teams. He was never considered one of the top QBs of his generation and therefore should not be in the HOF.
