Jeremiah on DT class

Something to chew on...

Eberflus loves his 3 tech's to be long and rangy with some twitch and get off...Deforest Buckner 6'7" 295 comes to mind (also Garvon Dexter 6'6" 312, Bears). Another ex cowboy who fits this mold was Jason Hatcher.(6'6" 297) Hatcher was just another jag until he was moved to the 3tech and all the sudden he has one of the best seasons ever from the position in 2013 with 11 1/2 sacks. Eberflus of course was part of that staff that help convert that team back to a 4-3.

How many of you have done a little research on Oregon's Jordan Burch? https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Jordan-Burch-LB-SouthCarolina

He mainly played on the edge, but he also put in a little time in the interior. He has extremely high traits ...He's going to test really well, and his stock will rise and we'll be hearing his name mentioned as an end of day one/early day two pick.

just give me 1 before the 5th or 6th.
please and thank you.
and a rb.
don't forget a rb.
again.
please and thank you.

i like burch.
and caldwell,his teammate.
also watch iowa's yahya black...another hawkeye who fits that mold...and always seems to be around the ball.

2. Too bad that they don't have more draft picks.
That would make sense if we would have parted ways with Dak to sign Trey Lance or something. To spend a 4th on Lance, only to sit him behind Cooper Rush will never make any sense to me.

I think they were trying to manipulate Lance into signing a cheap contract with them.

Of course this means we will wait till rds 6-7 and take DT and RB who are back ups
If they get a good RB/DT earlier, I am ok with getting a traits guy later.

But yea...the last couple of years they have only got one RB in the draft when we needed a good one.
