Jerry is a complete idiot if he actually believes he put the team in a good position to compete for a SB last offseason. All he did was allow players to leave and did virtually nothing in free agency but sign an aging LB and bring back a washed up Zeke. The entire fanbase knew the team was headed for a down season.

No I was saying the opposite and just that they focus on winning the division. Down the stretch if Dallas beats Cinci after that the Eagles game would have been for the tiebreaker to win the division. That’s it, they actually almost won the division. The last game was against Wash they didn’t even try they were already out of it hence the Elliott quitting the team move. That’s how close it is to making the Super Bowl and yet they lose every year for 30years because they can’t win outside the division. I’m sure Jerry looks at the Eagles and thinks a div rival won, that could have been us.

This is not a slight against Dak or even CD. But I don’t understand the logic of retaining your own players who did not make the Super Bowl last year would propel you to the Super Bowl this year.

Jerry’s offseason consisted of signing Dak/CD and the draft. Since we didn’t make the Super Bowl last year and then you strip away players to support Dak/CD/Micah and expected to go to the Super Bowl this year is well….delusional.
