Seems strange that other teams can participate in FA to their hearts content, and we can't.

Somehow, they find ways to pay their costliest players, while we are stuck with tier-3 guys.
It would seemingly behoove this FO to take note of such teams and act accordingly.

It's hard to believe how casual it is for Jerry to deliver these sad plans to this membership.

Stephen said they will “take a look” at how they’ve handled free agency. Every time they “take a look” at anything they determine that whatever they are doing is perfect and no changes are necessary.

And positively no one is fooling father time. Age...happens to us all. This game is far too complex now, and dynamic for the Jerrys out there to manage. and Stephen should keep his mouth shut.

Spending the most on one player should not be the goal. Keeping your top players and supplementing them through free agency should. This just shows that nothing will change and Jerry still doesn't understand.

Wouldn't it be funny if Parsons said "nah, I'm good. I'll ride it out until I hit FA and can try and win a championship."

That would be great, but then the Joneses would say that means we have to pay him $24 million this year, so we can't afford any expensive free agents. I mean, Nick Bosa is making $20 million this year, Myles Garrett is making $19.7 million. Parsons' $24 million would put him up there.

I’m for signing Parsons, I guess he’ll be the highest paid DE. They’re just not into signing outside FAs. With that said I’m really not sure how they get out of this rut.

It’s pretty clear you need a stud at QB. A 1st round QB isn’t even enough. Other then that all I can come up with is special teams and defense: stop the run, get to the passer, and have a good secondary. You can do two of those with a good Dline so I’d try to find the best 4 DL I could. Parsons is one of the best blitzing DL, but he can’t stop the run. I don’t know maybe run a 34 with Parsons the designated rusher.
