Not sure where this new approach came from, but it spells doom for fans waiting to win a championship again. How do we compete with teams in our own division that are willing to do whatever it takes to improve in the offseason?

It's as if Jerry believes by paying someone their performance improves accordingly. It's always been the fundamental issue, overpaying anyone with a name.
 
Looks like we'll be seeing more of the past tier-3 FA acquisitions in the near future. Thanks for the warning, Jerry -- you're a peach! I can't help but wonder how this grouping of new coaches will react, knowing their talent pool will be so limited. They'll probably be wondering what they've gotten themselves into. Jerry may well have sold them a bill of goods that has them awaiting things that will never come to pass. Surprise, surprise! :oops:

When Jed talks FA, we all know that is code for the boys will not be a willing participant, while everyone else participates.
 
He doesn't even realize or care that the younger generation aren't going to follow the Cowboys as their favorite team and loyal fans are getting older and dying off.
Good thing he's safe in Texas because if he lived in the north east he wouldn't be safe.

They will spend little to no money on Outside free agents again.
What’s funny is you letting Jerry get away with saying they spent money last year when they didn’t. Keep letting them off the hook, keep getting the same result.

Our biggest rival is in yet another SB because of their approach to FA.

The media knows he’s addicted to attention. And no other NFL owners make themselves as readily available as Jerry Jones.

No, our biggest issue is Jerry, not FA. It's a combination of his hubris, inability to evaluate any player, giving grossly inflated contracts based on commercial considerations (contracts he gets abused on, as he shows his inept hand....as he rinses and repeats).
Spending money isn't the problem, it's that he hasn't got a strategy, unless rinse and repeat is indeed strategy.

It's a little of both trust me Jerry didn't set these interviews up he's constantly getting these microphones stuffed in his face and unfortunately he likes to hear himself talk but don't get it twisted in a lot of ways he is gaslighting the media and at the same time fans that doesn't mean that's his plan he wants you to get all irritated and just be in the news and then he can do an okey doke and have something up his sleeve later,,

I prefer not to get irritated and I don't listen to any of these interviews I prefer not to prejudge or get upset for no reason whatsoever let's find out the results let's see how the offseason goes let's wait till training camp we have a lot of ammunition as far as knowing how the draft went how free agency is going up to that point and then we can criticize if we need to at that point but right now like getting yourself warmed up to be upset for no reason..

Or maybe it's some of y'all need an evaluation on listening to what people say in public getting irritated over something that hasn't yet to happen yet and having some long drawn out debate over nothing right now it's nothing maybe some of y'all need to learn not to listen I'm not opening a video anytime I see it's Jerry or Steven talking I just ignore it because I come in here and you guys are saying the same things redundantly over and over on how much you hate staying over Jerry but let's let the offseason play out then we can criticize what was or was not done as a team develops for the 2025 season I prefer to get the training camp before I start evaluating the offseason and it still continues from there things can happen before game one things can happen before the trade deadline but if we wanna have a debate about the Jones family and how the offseason went can we wait till the actual new league year starts and this process gets going?

No we can't. GM Jethro sucks everyday of the off season. We don't need to wait and summarize it at the end.
