Lunda Wells: We want to be more physical at the line of scrimmage

I heard Broaddus talking about this recently and he made a point that is probably correct. Jonathan Mingo is our best blocking WR. If you want to improve the run game you have to have good blockers at the position and the one guy who can do it you probably don't want on the field very much.
We don’t care. No one cares about any of these losers.

It's meaningless until it goes from talk to action, but THIS is absolutely what this team needs. We shall see in free agency and the draft if they are serious. Build up the trenches this year and then work your way out.

It is all lip service if the Jones boys don't pony up some dough and draft to make it happen

Yeah,
In typical Cowboys reactionary style we are late getting to the party of physical offensive LOS football.
While the 49ers, Ravens and Eagles had been using a stout run game approach to different levels of post season success the last few years the Cowboys sat idly by faking McCarthy's commitment to run game lie.

But now, since it's become so blatantly obvious on how a run game changes everything, that the Cowboys are forced to take the ball out of their overpaid non elite quarterback's hands in order to win more games.

It's a little late at this point I think but you know...

Its the Cowboys!
lol

Tyler Smith and Beebe are good starts. Let’s see if Guyton can become that guy.

I’m still worried about RT.
Guyton is a RT. 1,011 of his career snaps were at right tackle and 70 were at left tackle according to PFF in college.
Richards is a LT. 38 career starts at UNC (37 at LT, one at LG)

Im trying to remeber the year they came out and said "We are gonna be less physical at the LOS this year, just to try it out..."

Mazi has both lied and told the truth to this FO.

He was telling the truth when he said, "Oh snap son, I don't even be liking football" ......so i commend him for that

But he was lying when he said, " I like to hit people"......I've seen more of him getting hit and relocated from his original. spot.
oh snap son i dont even be liking football? painfully white

And it's not like his college film was crazy impressive either.
Just a total whiff on draft talent evaluation while succumbing to need as dictated by fanbase pressure.
Madden GMing at its finest.
And a total bust.

I can't judge his upbringing.. ..if it was my words I would have added a "yo" and changed " son" to "nephew".

I wasn't the one who axed him the question in the first place

Basic philosophy of football. Win the trenches, win the game.

Football 101 stuff. Now prove your serious in FA and the draft.
Literally. If we go out in free agency and make the draft work well, we’re back in the conversation for playoffs. I love the coaching staff put together.
