***Official Streaming Netflix, Amazon, Hulu and other streaming sites thread***

Two Seasons so far.

Really enjoyed this but now I guess I gotta wait for the next season.

I saw season 1. I didn't realize there is a season 2. I liked the first season. I will have to look for season 2.

Creature Commandos on MAX. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it.

Hellboy meets the second Suicide Squad movie meets Amazon’s Invincible series. I can see why they did it in adult animation… Would have cost a fortune with the special effects. I know James Gunn can make awesome stuff with his own style — Suicide Squad, Peacemaker. Guardians of the Galaxy…. Hope it translates well to the rest of the new DC films including this new Superman film.

It’s actually really good. I’m more of a Marvel > DC, but this is really well done.

Uh oh... lengthy post time... about a show that has already ended.

Almost done with this. I have a few episodes left. It is really good. I legitimately haven't seen a show or movie like this before. It can be fun, strange, dark, unpredictable, bloody, bizarre, and touching, all in the same episode.

If you have ever thought something like - “I’d like to watch an animated show, that combines themes from Godzilla, Game of Thrones, and All’s Quiet on the Western Front”, then this is probably the show for you. Those are the films I've called to mind of when watching this, but Attack on Titan still feels like its entirely own thing.

Humans are nearly exterminated by giant creatures called Titans. Titans are typically several stories tall, seem to have no intelligence, and devour human beings. A small percentage of humanity survived by walling themselves in a land protected by extremely high walls, even taller than the biggest of titans. Flash forward to the present, and most of mankind has not seen a titan in over 100 years. One day, 10 year old Eren and his childhood friend Mikasa witness something horrific as the city walls are destroyed by a colossal titan that appears out of thin air. As the smaller titans flood the city, the two kids watch in horror as Eren's mother is eaten alive. Eren vows that he will murder every single titan and take revenge for all of mankind.”

Attack on Titan
had been recommended to me by friends a few times, but I don’t watch any anime, and they know that. I’ve put it off until the whole series was available for streaming so I could just binge watch it. I saw it had a 9.1 average on IMDb and 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, but I kept my expectations lower since I just don’t normally watch stuff like this.

Mistake. I wish I would have watched it from the moment it premiered. It’s great. A couple episodes in season four got me more hyped than anything I’ve seen since the “Ozymandias” episode of Breaking Bad. You know, that hyped up feeling you get when you know you're watching a really special episode of a show you've fallen in love with.

It has everything I like in a show. 9/10 series. The 4th and final season especially. Season one and two feel like a fun adventure show with twists and turns. It has serious moments, funny moments, corny moments and scary moments.

The tone eventually shifts however, and gets more complex, yet it effortlessly combines all the complex threads the story has sewn so far into one epic, gargantuan fantasy spectacle. You will have flashbacks throughout the show and think “they’ve been telling us this would happen the whole time!”, as you realize the truth, and the foreshadowing that has been right in front of you. Season 4 is just banger episode after banger episode to me [I still haven't seen the last few].

Great plot, writing, and the voice acting - especially the actor who plays Eren - is top notch. And I’m referring to the original, Japanese version - I haven’t heard the American voice actors in the dubbed version, but the original cast is excellent. I watched it on Hulu, but for some reason the captions mess up in the middle of season 3? They, uh, aren't there. At all. But it’s also available a bunch of other places. The animation is relatively simple, but it works, and there are some great scenes that are stunning. I used to do a lot of cinematography. It's my favorite thing to critique in a show or movie. There were a few shots in this show that really floored me.

It’s a show that gets better with every season and has become one of my favorite shows of all time.

Anyway, the universe is telling me that @DallasEast has seen it, at least some of it.

I have mentioned it a few times in the past. :) Here is a question. Do you think it is HBO quality? It is just my opinion, but I think so.

I can respect someone who can watch anime in Japanese. I do it from time-to-time but usually wait it out for the English dubs. That is how I treated AOT. Just pulled out my fingernails waiting for each dubbed episode.

Not sure if you have tried it yet but Crunchyroll is my anime streaming service. Crunchy has ALL 89 episodes. ALL English dubbed. Plus eight OADs, which are episodes that briefly cross-reference throughout all the seasons at key moments--both small and significant. They are really well-done.

Not sure where you are in the series at the moment. Every single major and supporting character is very well-defined. Sasha Braus is one of the Scouts. She is a supporting character but ended up as the one that I loved the most. And I say that while admitting I loved them all--both good and bad guys.

I think back on 'her' episode quite often. Like, a lot. That is all I will say without spoiling it.

FYI for Bill Burr fans. He used to release his specials on Netflix, but it looks like someone offered more money. His next one is coming out soon on Hulu.

Hope we can see more Dave Chappelle stand-up specials on Netflix.

Just saw the third Ronny Chieng stand-up special on Netflix. His first one is still the best, but better than the second one. One of my favorite new comedians.
