The mistake of putting everything on the skill position players

Can't fix the DLine w/ mid/late round picks. Who in FA are you saying we are going to sign? Average DT's are the biggest reason we can't win in the playoffs. Don't need a cheap DT, need topnotch DTs.

I don't mind Jeantty in the 1st if he's really that good, but every year we do this, put off getting the DTs we need because we just HAVE to have some flashy skill position player. As long as we keep doing that, we're just not going anywhere.

Why was Philly in the super bowl and why did they win? They took Jordan Davis w/ the 13th pick in the draft in 22, then followed it up by trading up to take Jalen Carter w/ the 9th pick in the draft. Do you have any idea how many highly regarded skill position players they passed up to take these two? And gave up a pile of picks to move up for Jalen.

That's how you win, not by taking RBs/CBs/WRs/TEs consistently w/ your 1st/2nd round picks. As Philly did it, the RB and CBs were the icing on the cake.
Good points. If Jeanty is there and the boys don't take him, I just hope they have a better plan for the RB position than last year.

Calm down, dude, sorry you don't like my view, but that's life.

Did you miss my statement "I'd be considering a trade."? Where did I say draft a TE, especially early? I didn't. Just posing a viewpoint, and some options, nothing to get upset about.

Think we'd better leave this alone; you're getting way to agitated....
Never start a thread w/ calm down. Very grade schoolish.
