Does anyone else find it comical or asinine that we never seem to allegedly have money? Or must bargain shop?Best franchise in the world being run like a second hand store. Nuts! I know we been brainwashed to accept this notion every off-season so we project who we might sign based on being cheap. Think for a minute, how ridiculous this is? The mentality around here and at the star is in fact a culture issue! It's not how teams are winning these days. Teams are being aggressive. If we fail to change how we do things, we can expect the same results. I'm going to think bigger. We must hold the Joneses accountable. If they aren't aggressive or trying , then they are lying. As a fan, I need to be shown. I'm down for a good bargain player, but largely, it's done different now. We must do business differently starting with free agency. Otherwise it's meh.

Define spend

1) If there is a free agent that can almost certainly be an upgrade over what is on the roster don’t let some other team sign him.

2) Spend more than Washington or Philadelphia.

Otherwise the team is not looking to make the playoffs in 2025.

Not sure why this year would be any different than the past decades. Jerry is only interested in printing money and at least hanging around the rim. For him that is Mission Accomplished. Shame went out the window years ago.

At the combine I think we'll be doing a lot of back channeling for potential free agents. I think this is the year we're all shocked at least by the effort we're engaging in by bringing players in.

It looks like they will spend. There is absolutely no reason not to spend. They will need a free agent linebacker for sure and they are available.
