If you could trade for any 2 players on the same team, but you had to give up every single pick this year. What 2 players would you take?

Edit: Supplemental draft picks are not included and you may keep them.

Rules:
1. The cap is still in effect so you can't take players who would push you over the cap without a way to get below the Salary Cap with contract restructures.
2. The player traded to your team can't be a QB because of Dak's contract issues and dead cap hit unless said QB is on a cap hit below 20m a year.
3. It can't be a rookie player going on a second year in the league in 2025 league year.
4. You can add a 3rd player to trade, but have to give up a 1st, 2nd and 3rd next year as well.

This is just a fun post... Obviously it would never happen and a dreamscape. We are in the offseason though. Let's have some fun.

If you have another rule I should include or change. Feel free to add to it.

Rule 1 is bogus, so unless it is a QB and you have to follow Rule 2. Salary Cap does not matter. Any team can in theory get below cap constructs if needed. (See Saints for example) Rule 1 amendment. You can't have over 60 million in cap hit combined between both players traded.

Rule 4. This is a free for all. No cap restraints except for Rule 2.

Trade Jerry for a future 2059 7th rounder.

QB C.J. Stroud ($9.8 million so meets your criteria) and LT Laremy Tunsil.

Jayden Daniels and Daron Payne. Payne, in a trade would cost Dallas less than $20 million against the CAP and they could restructure to make it much less. Daniels is on his rookie deal and his$8 million CAP hit can fit under the CAP even if Dak gets paid while sitting on the bench.

Easy answer: Tvondre Sweat and Jalen Carter. Parsons would have 36 sacks.

Good Lord, Jalen Carter should be on everyone’s wish list for this. Anyone that doesn’t have him listed must want to see us give up 150 ypg on the ground next year.

Jordan Mailata at LT is a no-brainer as well.
I like this option... and also like the Lions option of Sewell and Hutchinson

Trade Jerry for a future 2059 7th rounder.
Cause his replacement is going to automatically do better than 5 division championships, 6 playoff appearances in a ten year span just because he/she isn't Jerry Jones?

Not to mention all the pro bowlers--all pros--rookie of the years--Jerry's found the last 20 years!

And this ain't trolling or being an apologist--this is telling the entire story--the whole picture

Roseman is the greatest, he works harder than anybody to improve his team! Well, Jerry team has more wins than Roseman the previous 10 years! The entire story

As far as the team for next year... get Guyton--kneeland--Beebe--liufau ready to be big time contributors next season. Sign or trade (not happening) Micha early.

Have an excellent draft.

Sorry, this activity is way too much work to put in to anything Cowboy related.

You need to post something that requires very little effort or intelligence, that way we can approach it as our GM would.
Our bumpkin has the edge on their city slicker

93 < 98
5 division titles
6 playoff appearances
Head-to-head
2014-2023

They'll bring up playoffs and SB, but if he's so superior and Jerry's so inferior, shouldn't he be dominating in all phases?

Just the whole story
