Found the video he never said he specifically wanted to be the Cowboys HC. I’m sure he would love the job but he said one of his long term goals is to be an NFL HC. Just shows how comments get twisted.
He's coaching Texas HS...that's equivalent to many small colleges. He also has the insight that only players can provide. He may not be ready, but he's not as far away as some may think. If JWit wants to be a HC in this league, for the Cowboys or whoever, he need to start at the bottom and move up.
He has zero skins on the coaching wall right now.
Were you in the locker room? What number were you? Are are you just assuming? Why did he let his team underachieve 2007-2013? He never stepped up and provided leadership
How y'all gone react when he doesn't make the HOF next year?
Didn't know Jimmy coached in the NFL....wow, gonna have to look it up. Learn something new everyday.Maybe one day Jason Witten can first be an NFL assistant coach. That’s step one!

I wouldn’t have had the OP asked to share our thoughts. At least he doesn’t ask to share our thoughts with everyone of his many threads. His schtick has grown old. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Witten provided more leadership than Jerry and Stephen combinedWhy did he let his team underachieve 2007-2013? He never stepped up and provided leadership

Different comparison. Jimmy had head coaching experience at the next highest level below NFL. Jason Witten has been a HC at a small private HS. Big difference.Didn't know Jimmy coached in the NFL....wow, gonna have to look it up. Learn something new everyday.
