He's coaching Texas HS...that's equivalent to many small colleges. He also has the insight that only players can provide. He may not be ready, but he's not as far away as some may think.

Different comparison. Jimmy had head coaching experience at the next highest level below NFL. Jason Witten has been a HC at a small private HS. Big difference.

It doesn’t take much to see JW needs some additional coaching experience at higher levels before becoming an NFL HC. I’m sure you could agree.
