Listening to local sports radio this week it sounds like they are getting tipped off that the team doesn’t love Amari Coopers attitude. Making it sounds like he pouts and quits easy.

They claim there was nothing wrong with him at the end of the year and they pulled him out of the Philly game simply for poor play.

It was odd how suddenly this week every show was kind of going at him.


I like Amari and think he’s top notch but that’s a lot of money for a WR that I can’t confidently say is 1 of the best 5 in the league.

Gallup isn’t far off then Diggs imo. If they let Cooper go, give the WR1 to Gallup and sign someone (or draft someone in the later rounds) to be WR2. Use the top pick on defense.

I’m not too high on Cooper getting paid a lot but there is no sane reason to turn around and give it to Diggs(along with whatever is in the trade). He would be cheaper but not that much for what he offers.

Cooper will far more likely be franchised than traded for Diggs. The Vikings know Coop's vulnerable to being injured by now. I think we'll see fit to acquire another WR at some point in the draft. Let's hope he's a good one.

I think Cooper is the better WR for Dak. Diggs is a downfield guy who will make big plays but he isnt going to give you that reliable polished route running that Cooper does. Cooper does have issues though and I would NOT break the bank for him. Drafting a WR is not really an option because he will take time to develop and the Cowboys have too many other needs than to use a 1st round pick on a WR. I think the Cowboys should use the tag on Coop that allows them to match an offer he would get in FA.

Cooper is a free agent, they wouldn't be trading for him.

We would give them a draft pick for Diggs.

I don’t understand. You’d lose Cooper in this scenario who you traded a first for and you’d trade a draft pick for a disgruntled guy who’s inferior to Cooper? This makes no sense. I guess it’s nice if you lose Cooper for nothing but Diggs isn’t the guy I’d want to replace Cooper.

A Stefon Diggs trade for Amari Cooper would not be an equal or fair trade. Best to get Dak signed before March 10, franchise Amari, and if someone decides to trade for and overpay for Amari, Cowboys would get two 1st round picks for him. Then use one of those 1st round picks to select Amari's replacement.
