Last one for the 70's One Hit Wonders. Another wonderful decade w/Disco just starting out & classic Rock-n-Roll.

Badfinger were not one hit wonders, I believe they had around 5 songs that got radio airplay. Paul McCartney had a hand in getting them signed to Apple records. This song has The Beatles written all over it, and I cant validate but it sure sounds like McCartney in the chorus.

And sadly their management stole most of their money which resulted in 2 band members eventually hanging themselves.

My bad dear. I realized that after time ran out for editing. Didn't think anyone would catch it. Like they say, you can't outsmart a fox. :lmao:

Never noticed McCartney/chorus. Isn't that something about their management. Very sad. Thanks for sharing you old fox you. :muttley:;)

...I always thought it was George Harrison that gave them the attention!...!...!...?

I see that they were signed by the Beatles Apple label back them....and "Pauly" helped them alot...I also see that George produced the song "Day after Day," I assume that's where my memory kicked in ...lol....and yeah you could definitely hear the band's Beatle influence !!!...

Wow, didn't know Harrison produced that. It sounds like it could have been on a Harrison solo album. You can tell that's him playing the slide guitar.

MEANWHILE....
