Maybe they’ll hammer something out here shortly. But it’s eerily quiet from all of the cowboys reporters. Cooper and Jones both could be gone

I'm not particularly optimistic at this point.

I've thought that Jones was gone from the very beginning so that wouldn't be news to me at all. News would be to see that he was somehow staying.

The Cowboys have squandered their window to get deals done with their top players, now they pay full, new market prices.

So does the fact they haven’t tagged Dak at 9:41 Eastern yet mean they’re actually trying to work out a deal or is it still just their posturing

I'll go with posturing. It's been their thing for over a year, why stop now?

wonder if a team like Tampa Bay would dare call Dallas an inquire about a sign and trade with Dak Prescott? Not a fan of that..Dak is my guy...I am just posing the question. Would Dallas listen? How many first round picks does Tampa have this year?

have they squandered anything? For all we know MAYBE MM has a long-term rebuild plan. Could it be that MM and staff sees a need for a complete overhaul? Look how deep this years draft is. Wouldn't it behoove the team to think long and hard about this wr class? Or what about the dline class and the safeties/corners? Its pretty darn good. We simply dunno whats going on behind closed doors.

Trust me here, I'm 100 confident BUCS would gladly give the Cowboys TWO first rounds picks for Dak and not look back. Dak is EVERYTHING they had hope they were getting with Winston. By his own admission, Bruce Arain has little or no tolerance for rookies. As he puts, you invest so time with then w/o a clue of what you're getting 2-3 years down the road.

Well if McCarthy has a gut feeling that a rebuild is in order you can't ignore an impulse that strong.

TOP 10 TALENT LIKE DAK IS HARD TO FIND. He may not be Mahommes, but hes a winner. Bruce knows this. If Dallas DOES pull off something like this, we had better have a great plan. Means signing Brady, drafting another QB to develop and fixing the Dline.
