Amari wants to stay with Dallas, Dallas wants to resign him to stay in Dallas, I'm not worried about Amari resigning, I think a deal gets done and he stays in Dallas..

They already used it. Amari gets a deal or he’s gone.

Yep....like said before. It's come to two options. Tag one and either give the other one what he wants or let him walk. Now they can either give Coop what he wants or he walks.

both of these deals should have been done before Zeke last summer. I don’t understand what Jerry is gaining here by penny pinching. 5m$ cap space combined he’s probably trying to wiggle out of them? Potentially losing your first round pick in Cooper and value in Dak by not having Cooper. Losing a little trust from Dak all for 2.5% of the cap?
I agree but it’s not Jerry it’s Stephen. He’s the pincher.

I think he’s gone. Some team like New England or Philly will go crazy to sign him

The problem is if a team offers 3 mill more a year and it's a 3 -5 year deal that earns him 15 mill more over time then we could give him...

Think about it, with the leverage Coop now has, it'll take a blank check to keep him off the market. My guess is he'll promise to give Stephen a chance to match his best offer. But he's 98% gone already IMO.......

What a disaster of a trade. Another wasted 1st round pick. And Hill is a bust so 2019 draft was a disaster.

So, do you think all that noise from Amari about wanting to be a "Cowboy for life" was just lip service? He sounded pretty genuine about it. But, what the heck do I know. o_O

Both Dak's and Cooper's agents did not want to sign extensions

If they lose cooper that’s entering Browns Front office territory. They always wait till the last minute. I truly believe it costs us big time last offseason. Lawrence postponed months to have surgery until he got a contract. And he clearly wasn’t right last season. Zeke clearly wasn’t the same either because of the holdout. Two of our best players weren’t ready to go.
