Not really, considering our draft history on defense. Project what we have as of now. We can adjust as we bring in players. No one is saying we cant get better.

Let's see how the rest of FA and the draft pans outs.

This.

Quinn was "cheap" depth last season.

And I do prefer if we're going to spend big on the defensive line that we go after a top DT. I think with the new rules concerning drugs that Gregory could actually be good enough at RDE.

Jones and Quinn were low effort players? K

Don't even start with Dak.

No, Jones and Quinn "Weren't" low effort players but you can bet they will be after those big paydays.
And in terms of Dak, whether you want to hear it or not, he is one of the best young Qb's in the game and getting
better. And despite what some of the detractors say he has put this team on his shoulders when nothing else was
going well. I've seen him elevate the teams in the playoffs against the seahawks, almost throttle Arod in playoffs, but the
defense did what the defense do. There are so many games you can point to, but the problem with the Dak winers is that
they only remember the games where he wasn't enough to elevate the team. But, if you look at all great Qb's they can't always
elevate their teams, it's just that Dak is held to unrealistic standards. Dak will prove you wrong, ****, he already has..

Quinn was a good player here. Too old and too limited to pay that much though. Early numbers are real high. Dallas must address the DT and secondary positions. I hope they don’t rely on dumpster diving again. They need a ton of work on D.

The Bears are desperate. They have everything but lack a QB. They will have spent all that money all to go 7-9. Without a QB in this league, you aint winning much. Trubes is a huge failure.

Yep.

Consider Lawrence's best seasons were WITHOUT Robert Quinn at DE.

It's fun being the smart team making good decisions..

It's always at it's most fun around January when other teams are playing in the post season and we can look at all of our smart deal we made.

I guess when the team was in the playoffs, you said what?

Robert Quinn Hits Big PayDay With Chicago Bears
https://www.dallascowboys.com/news/robert-quinn-hits-big-payday-with-chicago-bears

FRISCO, Texas – The exodus of Cowboys defenders continues on the second day of the legal tampering window.

One day after Byron Jones departed for Miami, Robert Quinn has agreed to terms with the Chicago Bears on a five-year, $70 million contract – with $30 million of it fully guaranteed.

It's a big pay day for Quinn after a renaissance season in Dallas. The Cowboys traded a sixth-round draft pick to Miami in exchange for the former All-Pro, and he responded with 11.5 sacks – his highest total since he posted 19 during the 2013 season.

Quinn was one of just a few bright spots on a Dallas defense that struggled with consistency last season. After missing the first two games due to suspension, he was the steadiest member of the Cowboys' pass rush, tallying 34 tackles, 13 tackles for loss and 22 quarterback hits to go along with his sack total.

This is why real life isn't Madden. I liked Quinn and Byron Jones but if someone offers them twice what they are worth, you move on. Instantly.
