Which "coaches" would they be? The ones who all got fired?
"Try hard"? Try hard? Now we're giving out participation trophies?
Sorry, but anyone that looks at the return on investment and Crawford's on-field play vs his off-field pay can easily see that "logic" has nothing to do with this.
I've been right for years while the team has been and continues to be wrong.
Wow, I didn't see this thread coming.
Everyone in North America has known for a year that Crawford won't be at his current salary for 2020. The question is whether its a cut or a lower salary through negotiation. But there is no reason to spend time on a slam dunk issue while you are still negotiating with outside free agents. The most likely scenario is a pay cut and that takes longer than just converting salary to a signing bonus (with takes about ten minutes). Crawford's salary will be dealt with months before the money is needed.

His contract will be restructured and that’s a bet you can take to Vegas right now. He’ll be playing around 3-4M hit next year not 9.1M.
To suck at more than one position? Great...
because he might be their starting RDE if they don't get one in FA.
I would assume it's every defensive coach we've brought in considering we didn't cut him last year under Marinelli and we haven't made a move in that direction under Nolan ... although there's still time.
You cut guys that don't have it, you don't praise them if they do. That's why it's called "professional football".Work ethic is important.
Just because it doesn't line up with your logic does not mean logic isn't involved unless you think teams just make decisions based on emotion.
The Cowboys cut ties with one of their greatest defensive players of all time (DeMarcus Ware), so if they saw no value in Crawford, there's no reason to doubt they wouldn't cut ties with him.
Money is needed today. In case you missed it, free agency now has started.
Good backup to have but he's been way overpaid for years. He never seems to play the position they imagine and always dealing with sore shoulders by years end have hampered his productivity. but that's who the front office likes for whatever reason.
They have 25 Million in cap space today, more when Dak signs and more than 25 Million more if they want to do restructures.
Who is signing today that needs more than that? Any 30 Million dollar a year CBs out there that I missed?
Don't feel sorry for me. Fell sorry for your favorite team.
I take it you loved the return on that $10 million last year and want more?
because he might be their starting RDE if they don't get one in FA.
I'll ask you since you're head cheerleader around here.
3 Million dollars and 3 Million posts from Stash until it happens.
They are here, because no statistical evidence justifies the cost vs return.
Read post #8 of this thread. Then get over your weird tantrum obsession with Crawford, everyone on Earth knows he is overpaid.
