Signed by Cowboys Cowboys Sign HaHa Clinton-Dix

Heath for 3m per year or Haha Dix for 4m per year......I'll take Haha Dix thanks

Lol, no he's not. Heath is a much better player.

This guy was a first-round pick who Green Bat got rid of. Then a Washington, then Chicago, where he was not good.

He's a scrub.
He had a good year with Chicago last year, the bear's have already made Eddie Jackson the highest paid safety in the nfl , they dont want to put anymore money into the safety position. I live in Chicago bear land.

Will Donovan Wilson be the strong safety?

Dix replaces Woods not Heath?

Heath is not a better player...Hence Dix is getting paid more.

Basically we are getting more turnovers, and a much better tackler but a downgrade on ST.

having two cover safeties on the field is always a good thing tho
I don't disagree there. I want playmakers back there.

I guess if anything it puts more potential to create turnovers, but still slightly concerned of who's actually going to be coming up and making a tackle.

HCD left Greenbay looking for the big pay day but ended up in Washington which everyone knows that organization is a dumpster fire and bottom line HCD didn't produce instant results in Washington to prevent the skins from gambling on Landon Collins.

HCD went to Chicago and had a solid year in my opinion but no way the bears were going to invest anymore than they have too at the safety position because of Jackson and the rest of that defense. Chicago was open to bring him back but Cowboys offer more and plus the MM factor makes it a no brainer.

I know HCD Commanders film look bad but can w really fault a player for their time over there??

Im not quite as excited, not a three yes excited,
but I will say one yes.
My summation on Dix, is that he is barely still a starter in this league but Heath was never a starter in this league, but was starting for this team.

we paid less than Heath’s contract to bring him in, a familiar face someone I was hoping we’d get so yeah!

Bears fans said he was better suited playing FS for them.

Interesting that last off-season all the talk was about wanting a SS, box safety type. We were linked to guys like Robert Geathers, Adrian Phillips (who are both free agents again btw) and ended up signing Iloka.

Now we get an actual playmaker.

I
Agree here,, Vonn Bell is still only 25, young with a much higher ceiling still.. lets see, FA is still active, maybe VB is our next signing. Fingers crossed.[/QUOTE I'm hearing Vonn Bell need's to bring his price down for team's
