You could cut Crawford, save 8MM and get Griffen.

This franchise continues to overvalue Tyrone Crawford.

I'd rather have Griffen playing DE opposite Lawrence than Crawford.

I really hate Clowney. Hated him in college too. Its like to this point his whole career including college is he's saving himself for something. He's holding on to his talent. When is he ever going to fulfill his potential? THe only way i'd sign him is if it was a one year or 2 year deal. He's a prime example of someone who needs to always have a reason to play.

I love Clowney and have been pushing for him around here.

I don't need him cheap, but it absolutely MUST be short term. Theres no way you can trust this guy long haul.

Thing is, w a guy like Griffin at 32, that's short term also.

Griffin may be solid, hit Clowney can wreck a game when he feels like it.

I was thinking that lol I posted a few about us in then they say we’re not. Griffen seems to be intrigued a posting it on his Instagram

Griffen is an ideal fit. He won't be astronomically high in terms of price, he's likely a short term deal, he can step in and play RDE and be better against the run than Quinn was and still get after the QB.

It makes total sense.

This smells like last year when the bypassed cheapish DTs like McCoy and then reached for Hill in the draft. So they are so shortsighted if they pass up Griffen. He doesn't preclude them from going DE in the draft either.
