I'm happier than a pig in a pile of poop! Now that both sides have agreed to basic terms, the remainder should be a piece of cake. The Cowboys should no longer be a team that is vulnerable to an opponent's running attack. Of course, it doesn't mean we'll be impregnable but the odds of plugging the run consistently are highly in our favor. If our LBs are what we think they are, we should certainly be tough vs. the run.

Our strength vs. the pass may be something that remains to be attended to. Yet another dynamic DE must be ours and aptly developed into a pass rushing threat for this defense to excel. If the Cowboys are able to develop an outside threat, we'll be in fine fettle to win impressively. I'm extremely optimistic that such a scenario can and will materialize by the time vet FA and the draft are in the books -- high five! :)

Don’t include Hill. He adds 0, less than 0. He takes away from our depth. We could sign someone that can actually play a little bit.
how the flip do you know this? its new season, new scheme and new caches to get him going..NO DOG house and lack of creativity from the coach,,he could for sure be depth, year 2 players do improve..Taco even starting finally coming along, only reason we traded him was his work ethic and attitude.. Hill is the same personality and needs to be coached up..
you have ZERO idea and lend 0 to actual facts on how Hill will respond..

I'm as pissed about the Rod thing as anyone, and I'm no Hill fan..

But let's be fair. Let's not 100% give up on anyone that was 20 years old and didnt go through an entire NFL offseason yet.

I'm not saying the guy is going to be any good, and he seems to be lazy/apathetic, but it looked to me like some strength would do the guy some good.

Let's look at him this year before giving up.

Or you can include him since the lame coaching last year screwed him up somewhat. Give him a chance in year 2, see if he has matured, and what the new and much improved coaching staff can do.

Most people had the guy as a 3rd round pick. He's got a ton of talent.
