Do our poor starts in games bug U?

Not trying to flood your fan enjoyment with too many questions..but .

Does the fact that it takes a long time for our offense to get up to speed and score early on bother you?

Who is responsible for this glitch?

It's a severe problem we do not speak of much.

But it's been happening alot post 2016.

In that year, we scored early, controlled the clock and took the air out of games and it was a beautiful thing.

We have completely lost that. I did not add Garrett to the above as he has moved on. But it did seem that he preferred to play games close into the 4th qt .

I never understood it. It was like Garrett being a QB wanted the game in the end to be up to the QB. I know that does not sound realistic..but still.

So how do you guys see that?

Crap HC that goes into a shell when you say Boo.
1st year OC with zero qualifications.
A QB with clear flaws and advantages that was never really used to maximum efficiency.

Players dropping like flies, effort-wise, because they saw the writing on the wall.

I believe our inconsistency in how we start games comes down to not having a coaching staff that allows our offensive coordinators to strategize to attack the other teams weaknesses on defense. I believe this will change now that Garrett isn't around to force his insecurities on Kellen the Beaver Moore.

no the poor finishes its not how you start its how you finish, we were tops in not having a single come back down at the half even but less then a score and worse we were high on the list in games leading in the 4th but losing..this team needs to learn to close..

besides we are talking old Coaches vs new so the narrative cant be used rights now until a a season is played with this new staff so relax.

My philosophy about our team is..

we rarely are what you would call hungry.

Our mindset is we are better than you..

we have better players than you..

our cheerleaders are better than you..

so we don't need to try as hard as you.

Other team know if they will come out, start fast...

punch us in the nose right off the bat..

we will lie down and can be beaten.

Happened time and again last year.

I think that is more on the players than coaches.

The players are the millionaires, not the coaches except for maybe the HC.

I have my beliefs but I do not think I am too far off.

This team has excellent talent on offense,, it had to have been the scheme.
