I thought we needed to replace Dak with a QB in the 1st? He's so bad and disappears vs good teams. Now we need a 1st round WR too. lol.
These guys say so much dumb crap on this site they end up killing their own arguments down the road lol. Erod is a prime example of that.

Yeah, he's not wrong.

Glad we got Cooper instead of Jones, and this board is going to feel real silly in a couple years for pushing to keep a ghosting skill player over a good cover corner.

I'm not gonna judge a guy based on "rumors" out of Oakland. There were rumors about Randy Moss out in Oakland too.

Because of his personality he's being painted as "unmotivated". That's silly. IF you want to say he doesn't show up on the road that's fine. My argument to that was the whole team didn't show up last year on the road. What he did under a completely different organization is irrelevant to me.

Whether he's worth the 20 million I don't know or care. That's Jerry's money. Our salary cap situation is fine so I'm not concern with it.

Those were not the only big games of last year. They had plenty of chances to wrap this division up. Those games became big games because the Eagles kept sucking too otherwise they too would've wrapped this division up.

Any time this team had a game where they could gain some momentum in the season they'd choke. Yeah they beat the Rams but by that time it was too late.

it wasn't too late. The Rams game was before the Philly game.

well AC and Dak were a large part of said choking...the rams game it was all the run game and defense .. no dak or Amari in site and we won that one...

his daddy dumped hofer chris carter. and I truly believe the plethora of nagging injuries contributed to coopers effectiveness late in the season. nothing a route runner needs more than leg, foot and ankle injuries.

LOL injuries that only showed up on the road? What was his excuse in Oakland?

So was he injured there to? So we have an injury prone WR? That's fantastic.

Dumb contract given out by dumb people because they were dumb and gave up a first round pick and didn't want to deal with the fallout of letting him walk.
That was a great trade and the contract isn't nearly as dumb as the people that can't read between the lines and understand the guarantees of the deal.

I don't really care about Rex Ryan's opinion but I appreciate the motivation.

Talented players like Amari, who let's all be honest, can disappear sometimes, respond well when loud mouths call them out.

This has been said about Cooper for years and it's been the same old story.

And for people ripping on Rex, I wish we had a coach that could get us to a couple of championship games.

It was too late in regards to trying to make a push and actually do something. They kept losing all of the big games. They could've wrapped this division up long before they played Philly.

This is why the whole "big game"thing is subjective. People think big games are only against good teams or when you play for something. But the fact is had they beaten the Jets, Bears, Saints like they should've then they wouldn't have had to wait until week 16 on a "big game".

well AC and Dak were a large part of said choking...the rams game it was all the run game and defense .. no dak or Amari in site and we won that one...
What do you mean Dak didn't show up? He had a 123 QB rating in the Rams game lol. Mind you he got hurt in that game too lol.

Sounds like someone is still butt-hurt about not getting the Dallas Cowboys' HC gig. Or maybe Rex just doesn't find Amari Cooper's feet and toes attractive.

Why would anyone listen to someone with a Mark Sanchez tattoo and crazy foot fetish?

Are you really rueing the fact we chose a "disappearing player" over one who can't make a play to save his life? Very odd.

You're going to go that route again?

You want to prove it wrong, because remember when you couldn't in the past? Let's go ahead and point out everything you will try to use to excuse Cooper

- Injuries. So were injuries his problem in Oakland? So he's had injury problems his entire career? Red flag 1

- It was the Raiders. Okay, cool, then why is he doing it with us?

- Reluctantly say it's Dak?

- Try to blame it on two coaching staffs?

> can't make a play

I'm sorry, but covering your guy and limiting targets isn't "making a play"? Imagine having such basic knowledge of football that you think only flashy stats tell the story. Use your brain for once.

Its a reflection of his coaching. He doesn't think before he says anything. Just dumb.

LOL the average fan will call players much worse, but I'm glad you are all up in arms about a player being called a turd.

Imagine thinking"covering your guy and limiting his targets" results in wins. It doesn't. Byron Jones is the only great corner in history who can't rack up more than 2 interception. Imagine that. Please.

I liked Byron. You seem to like him too. But you don't have to dog Cooper in order to appreciate what Byron was. Its just a silly argument.

You're getting caught up in that same dumb argument people use to make for Nnamdi Amosugha. Great corners make plays. Those are FACTS. Show me one that didn't.

That's where we differ. These are suppose to be analysts and "experts". If I wanted to hear a 60 year old man resort to name calling I'd just sit here on CZ and read all of your posts. Says more about him that he can't even get off a criticism of a player without resorting to words like "turd". Sounds familiar doesn't it?
