There are a handful of guys that seem to want one of these top 3 highly ranked WR's as BPA even over some defensive guys that would fill holes. So what would they or anyone else do if these players came up on the board when the Cowboys were up to pick?

And I am not saying all these guys are realistically available.

I will use Ruggs as the #3 WR that potentially falls to the Cowboys.

Ruggs or Chaisson? DE

Ruggs or Fulton CB

Ruggs or Henderson CB

Ruggs or Kinlaw DT

Ruggs or Xavier McKinney SS

Ruggs or Trade Down

Except for Kinlaw and Chaisson, I'd take Ruggs over everyone else. I really can't argue my point, I'm just going off of YouTube videos and draft bios. I don't watch hardly any college football, so that's my two cents.

Chaisson over Ruggs but thats it. I could live with Henderson, as he is more highly thought of by others than me.

Id take Ruggs over Kinlaw just because of the knee

That's true, regarding the knee. I should have put that caveat...."medicals withstanding".

I'm taking Henderson over Chaisson..I have them graded similarly..different pros and cons to their ratings..for me higher floor for Henderson and higher ceiling for Chaisson..but cb, imo, is a much much bigger need

I agree. But Ruggs does look amazing on tape. Looks like another Tyreke Hill to me.

He would be hard to pass up.

So true. Would anyone be that terribly upset, like remote throwing upset, if Dallas did take Ruggs at 17? Not only is he fast, but he is a skilled receiver. I would not hate it even over any defensive prospect the OP optioned.

OP hates taking a WR so much, he'd rather draft a long snapper

He's literally shocked, people would go wr over most of these guys...

Let's not even get started if it's Lamb on the board instead of Ruggs, lololol

The thing with a guy like Ruggs though is he was almost never touched in college. LOL

If he becomes the #1 WR on a team, he is going to get doubled, jammed, hit hard over the middle making tough catches. He will have to be in the right sutuation.

I would never be upset with BPA as long as its not RB with the 4th pick in the draft.

And I am not shocked at all. I would probably take Ruggs over some of them anyway.

I just watched a tape of Juedy and he reminds me of Michael Irvin. Not sure I would take Juedy over Ruggs.

I prefer defense with the 1st 3 picks myself. unless there's a crazy wr you cant pass on in the 2nd or 3rd.

That's the beauty about him if he plays in Dallas. Put him in the slot, and he will scare defenses with his speed. Line him up on the same side, alongside Amari, that would be an awesome sight.

It would be incredible. But you only have that for two years and then Cooper is gone. And in the meantime we aren't winning jack with our defense. So who knows?

you win championships or you get to championships by building the defense. you get to playoffs just by having an offense.

I want championships. build the defense.

I agree. Still it would be fascinating. I don't think we'll have a chance at him anyway. Henderson will probably be there. .. I was thinking McKinney would be a possibility too, but listening to Bucky, he's not too high on these safeties, i.e., McKinney, Delpit.. so I need to get his take. I liked McKinney's highlights, Delpit was okay, but not a big fan of his tackling.

We do need defensive players. If they are reinstated, would Gregory and Smith end up being "the guys"? I hope so. CB, is a different story though. We have not addressed this position at all, even with the resent signings.
