This guys opinion might mean something? I don’t know though. All of the armchair scouts
he didnt say that he said at times against better corners or when he wasn't the primary he would give up on routes and thats true..it got him benched jogging through routes at times in games..For Rex Ryan to say Amari Cooper is not a good route runner is flat out ridiculous!
To say he disappears in big games has been pretty accurate. Hopefully that changes this year.
Go Cowboys!!
Compared to other top level receivers, there isn't a huge difference. This notion that he disappears is overblown in general.we already had along discussion going with our opinions on AC and rex in another thread.
, im glad they are defending him but Rex wasn't all wrong, maybe Turd was hard but the guy does disappear and not worth 20 IMO
we paid it because Dak needs his binkie and we already gave a 1 for the guy.. catch 22 doesn't mean he has some issues that were stated very correctly....
When, on multiple occasions did he give up on routes and get benched? What games?he didnt say that he said at times against better corners or when he wasn't the primary he would give up on routes and thats true..it got him benched jogging through routes at times in games..

Cooper didn’t do a thing in a hurricane of course not. It's just players defending players. They will always do this. Also what positive is there for a corner to say he covered a turd receiver? Not very good in future contract negotiations.
Gilmore got beat by other receivers, Cooper didn't do a thing. Nor has Cooper ever done anything against elite corners.

Rex Ryan is a turd
Ryan is a corn studded turd at that. Not only is Cooper a great route runner, but he is fast and sneaky as well. His body control catching ball near the sidelines is uncanny. Cooper has disappointing moments in games but what overall production!

All receivers have a harder time on the road.
All receivers struggle when playing injured.
All receivers have a harder time with higher level secondaries.
The conversations that were had were cherry picked to make it appear Cooper is some couch potato. Yet his teammates, coaches and opposing players all suggest a different story.
Most just look at the yards received and that paints the picture instead of factoring in injuries, location, caliber of the secondary, other WRs on the roster sharing catches.
Having two high level WRs produce over 1,000 yards in a season is a sweet problem to have.
