If Cowboys get Dak signed low enough maybe Bengals would do some trading?

I sure would be thrilled to see Joe Burrow lead the next generation of Cowboys under McCarthy.
Perhaps the Bengals would give up their number one pick if Dak was under contract for 4 or 5 years.
The Cowboys could get Burrow and under his rookie deal would save millions of dollars.
I just can't see why Jerry and Stephen wouldn't be trying to sell this package to the Bengals, unless they are absolutely not interested in Dak.

I think if an NFL team signs a player with a signing bonus (which is pro-rated over the contract salary cap wise initially) and then trades him immediately after, the full signing bonus would accelerate to be due now, though a team could split it over the next season by designating it a post-June 1st transaction.

Not to mention, if the Cowboys pulled something like that, I can imagine every future player agent they deal with would demand a no-trade clause at least for the first 1-2 seasons if not the entire contract.

You could 100% count on that last line.

You are persistent in your hate for Dak threads. And it has already got old. To the point you seem like a troll. Not a fan.
It is consuming your life, to sit around all day to think up such threads. You may need intervention.
We have a poster that is this way with Zeke. Though I don’t see his posts anymore.

Why would the Bengals ever do that?
Please explain
They would want to give up the #1 overall pick (worth as much as 3 lower 1st rounders) PLUS pay 140-180 million extra ...all for Dak?

@Reality mentioned it, but the cap hit from signing and then immediately trading Dak would be brutal and such a move is completely unheard of in the NFL.

You might have well have asked the Bengals to include a sack of magic beans and unlimited wishes while you're at it.

Next level dreaming going on here.

plus they could still have Dalton at at cheaper price.
if the Bengals trade that pick, it would be for a Kings ransom in draft picks. Not a QB.
