My friends and associates keep telling me how great Tony Pollard is and that he's better that Zekie. Well, I remember a back by the name of Felix Jones who everyone thought was the next Emmitt when the Boys had Marion Barber. Isn't it funny when the guy playing second fiddle has seriously gaudy numbers until he's asked to carry the baton. I can I get an amen!!!!

I haven't heard ANYONE say that Pollard is better than Zeke. Not one poster on here or anywhere.

However, there are definitely things that Pollard does better and those things need to be tapped into by scheme and more use.

It's true, Pollard is no Zeke but he's not trying to be. Pollard is an excellent change of pace back to Zeke's work horse power back running. They are an amazing tandem that should be on the field at the same time more often and MM has been talking like that will happen.

The question should be is Zeke better than Demarco Murray in his prime? I don't really think he is.....

No one thinks he's better than Zeke but based on their numbers, Pollard's snaps should increase and Zeke's should increase. If anything, if you love Zeke and want him to remain a pro bowl caliber back going forward, his load needs to be lightened.

Yeah I am not sure anyone actually says Pollard is better than Zeke all around. Like another poster said though, Pollard does have some things going for him that are atleast comparable if not better than Zeke.
Zeke is a better power rusher who can take on single tacklers for that extra yardage. He has decent vision once he finds his gaps. and he does have a knack to fight for extra yardage.
Pollard is a shifty RB with very good vision once he gets the ball. What he lacks in power, he gains in quickness in feet movement to find his hole. Has very good speed, and has good takeoff speed as he doesn't waste body movement in moving forward

Personally. I like both Zeke and Pollard, but I would not of spent the 90 million last year had I known what Pollard was last year. That being said, its not my money so as long as it doesn't hurt our opportunities to keep and get talent, it is nice to have both. I really hope they line both on the field at same time in multiple formations as I think that would be a dangerous combination of what our team could do

pollard is a weapon to be used properly. he never carried his team in college, so he is not a work horse, but he has speed, hands and can be used to create mismatches. he is not Alvin Kamara.....but dallas fans always over value their own players...

He's much better value than Zeke, which is the important thing at a non-premium position. Now that Gurley has been cut, Zeke may have the worst contract in the league.
