True, and rushing titles should be based on yds per carry avg, not just total rushing yds.
Then you have to also look at total yds which would include pass catching, as some backs get a lot there too.

Also back in the day when they played 12 games and maybe before that 10 games, getting 1000 yds meant the guy was good.
because he was averaging 100 yds per game.
But then they played 14 games, and now 16 games, and soon 17 games and people still talk about 1000 yd season like it is a good thing lol.
Right now an elite rb should get 1600 yds a season, and soon 1700 yds a season.

When OJ went over 2000 yds , they played 14 games, that would be 142.8 per game avg, which is pretty impressive.
I wonder did dickerson do it in 16 game season?
Elliot had 1600 + in 2016 , but that was the only season , he was in good condition back then, but the drinking and partying,
and lack of work ethic, big ego, have all led to a guy who isnt going to come close to 1600 rushing yds, and has to come out
of games to catch his breath lol which really is a joke,

Pollard is younger , in shape , and faster, no way to know about how durable he is.
And they paid elliot too much, it would be better to just go with younger cheaper backs who will stay in shape.
And the 2019 rushing leader is: DRUMROLL!!!!!!

DEEBO SAMUEL. With 159 yards on 14 carries for a YPC of 11.4!!!!!

YUP. That makes sense.

I was mostly just joking with ya.

Let's review your post: "There have been a couple of people here who said the Cowboys should trade Zeke and put Pollard as the main running back, that to me is essentially saying Pollard is better than Zeke...."

You made no reference to whom or what you were talking about. If there were some confusion.....certainly you can understand. Note...I never said YOU said Pollard is better. I thought that you said "because some people said so, Pollard is better.

"...that to me is essentially saying pollard is better".

But I'm clear on your meaning now. We're on the same page.

I could have said "that to me is those people essentially saying Pollard..." which would have made it clearer...

use a little common sense ksk, I said it would be the top 10 with the most carries , then look at ypg avg.
240 carries or more for 2019 is where I would start.
the top 5 this past year were the same whether you look at total yds, yds per game or per carry avg.
1 Derrick Henry* TEN 25 RB 15 15 303 1540 16 73 74 5.1 102.7 5
2 Nick Chubb* CLE 24 RB 16 16 298 1494 8 62 88 5.0 93.4 3
3 Christian McCaffrey*+ CAR 23 RB 16 16 287 1387 15 57 84 4.8 86.7 1
4 Ezekiel Elliott* DAL 24 RB 16 16 301 1357 12 78 33 4.5 84.8 3
5 Chris Carson SEA 25 RB 15 15 278 1230 7 75 59 4.4 82.0 7

henry was the only one who avg over 100 yds per game, which made him elite for that season.
his avg per carry was .6 better than elliot, which is significant, and they had about the same carries.
Total yds receiving added in for RB's, would change things, McCaffery would be # 1
with around 2400 yds, elliot would be around 1800
Henry and the other top 5 only had 200 + yds rec.
