That's how all these guys are. They think anyone is better than Dak.

It makes absolutely no sense.

Cowboys cap situation is fine. So don't bring up money in regards to Dak especially after you overpaid 6 other guys.

To pretend like Herbert and Tua don't have flaws is insane.

The objective is to hope one of these guys is as good as Dak has been.
Brother,, you just said everything in one post that both sides,, Pro DAK and Anti Dak have been both debating for how long now?

Risk it.. Give him the year off to get right and you have possibly the best QB in this class.

If you play it safe with Dak and give him all that money you’re locking yourself into a Kirk Cousins type of player..

Go draft a potential superstar that will be on a cheap deal. That’s what wins. Not following the stupidity of teams overpaying QBs.

I agree. The problem is drafting Tua. How far up do the Cowboys have to go to get him? Jump in front of Miami? What if Washington or Detroit draft him? We'd be giving up all that draft capital for Herbert?

No. Let’s not draft a guy who we are being told has injury problems
Injuries problems? Yeah, no way should the chiefs look long term to Mahomes, hes injury prone, nor the Texans with Watson. I cant believe that te Bucs signed braddy, he does have that knee issue. Cant believe Rodgers is still playing, he did miss all those games due to the collar bone...........smh

If you play football, especially QB, you are likely to get hurt. One injury makes Tua have, "Injury problems?"

And it begins, looks like we are in for another holdout.

Jordan Love or Herbert is more realistic, but hate to see them draft a QB in round one when they can't even trade Dak.

Vikings will never win anything with Cousins as their QB.

Having decent regular season and getting knocked out early in the playoffs is not the goal and that is their ceiling.

If they had a playmaker at QB they could potentially get past that.
They didn't get knocked out because of Kirk Cousins though lol. Dan Marino never won anything so what's your point? If you aren't lucky enough to play for a Super Bowl team then you don't want them as your quarterbacks?

Uhh....Tua has 5 injuries not 1 lol. How you are comparing Mahomes and Watson injuries to Tun's in the span of a few years is insane lol.

I think being successful is much better than what the Commanders have been doing. I've always liked Cousins. He had that stain on his resume for not showing up in primetime games but overall I liked him as a quarterback. He surely doesn't belong in the company of bad quarterbacks that people try to put him in. And hell I'd rather have him than Jimmy G.
Not trying to be a spur in your side this glorious morning, but sorry bro,, I would much rather have Jimmy G,,, was going to post JG,, but that would have brought on the deranged spawn responses from this forum..lol

What have the Vikings done?

I’d rather be adding pieces like Chase Young then being stuck in the middle.
Damn,, just please quit mentioning Chase Youngs name...
You know he is going to the Skins,,,
Why must you torment me so?

Well at least Dak can't take off to Cabo yet.

So what if he skips a virtual offseason, as what does he miss. Hopefully all players working out to stay in shape, and OTA's just basically glorified walk throughs, though it does have its purposes and helps.
I guess he misses the new playbook changes. Though he could be given one to study.
But a QB still needs to be there as he runs that playbook on the field.

Jerry, get it done or draft a QB.

How many STARTING QBs have you seen holdout like this in the NFL? How many starting QBs have you seen tagged? If Jerry offered 50 million per season and Dak still held out, would you still be telling Jerry to "Get it done?" Cousins was tagged.... and he signed it and went about his business because he was smart enough to know his payday was inevitable. Dak is the leader of this team????

I dont care about the fact he was a starting qb playing for relative peanuts because he was a 4th rd pick. The rules are the rules that the players have agreed to. Only more of a reason to draft a QB and put some pressure right back on Dak.

Yeah I can't get behind Jimmy G. To me he's the most overrated quarterback in the league. I know he just got to the Super Bowl but he hasn't proven nearly enough in this league yet.

He's gotta lead his fellow teammates and colleagues around the league. Gotta show the youth you know your worth and the ball is in your court. Don't get just succumb to your "owner".

It doesn't quite work that way.

If 18 year old Johnny walked into his bosses office and demanding a raise, citing an NFL Player's "hold out" as his inspiration, he'd be shown the door in a heartbeat.

It's a fine line, holding professionalism and pride in your work, while not coming off as crass and selfish.

It depends. Knowing your worth can go a long way. It won't help everyone. It won't. A lot of places will rather pay someone what you won't take. But if you offer something to a company and they don't believe they can get that same quality from anyone else.....they will pay you what you are worth. Or what you think you're worth anyway. Sometimes it takes being told no a few times to get to this point. At 18......you will catch a no more than likely.

This isn't news. I have posted this before as have others.

The virus has put everything on hold, so it doesn't matter right now. But once the teams go back, this will be when it gets interesting.

So if Dak would have gotten this team to the SB, you wouldn't hold that against him.

So we are now comparing Tua to hall of fame quarterbacks? Makes sense.
And considering teams are saying he’s failing physicals is where I’m saying injury issues.
