Atlanta has no issues trading future picks..lots of them to move up and get their guy..Its no guarantee they'll get a deal done..but they usually do
It's funny how the NFL has changed so much in the last couple years. You have teams like the Rams who don't covet high draft picks in the McVay era, and you have teams trading away their stars to get as many high value picks as possible. It will be interesting to see where the Rams are in 2-3 years from now, and where teams like the Dolphins, Raiders, and Jaguars are in a few year.
Rams IMO will be depleted of riches with good players leaving because of cap problems and no high end draft picks to take on the role which is going to cripple that team long term.
Dolphins if they don't panic and pick good players and even look to move one of those 1st rounders to acquire more picks day 2 to give them the best chance of getting more quality players. The team needs a roster overload, but I like how they addressed FA.
Raiders are in a very tough division, and one of the few that seem to have every team as a contender and looking to improve. The Broncos looked very good under Lock, Chargers, if they address the o-line with the 6th pick and go sign a Cam or Jameis, can make a real run, Chiefs are looking to repeat.
Jaguars took 10 steps back from their playoff run team, and they need to find a way to add more pieces to that team. I would not be surprised if they trade back from 9 and gain more draft capital.
All of this comes down to nailing your picks, but the teams who have more picks and do a good job of using them have the best chance of winning down the road.
