I disagree. From all account, They have give Dai everything he has asked for. It wouldn’t hurt him to give a little too. He wouldn’t be in this position in the first place if it wasn’t for Jerry.
By who's account?

Finished your quote for you.

Sounds like Dak wants to be a Cowboy for life....as long as that means just 4 years.

I hope that breaks the hearts of the Dak Boyz knowing your hero wants to be here on a limited basis.

it’s easy to see why he would do this and I’m not a “Dak boy”

QB contracts are going up and up. Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that.

Why are you pro player? Never understood this angle.

Oh!!! I can relate more to the plight of an employee than I can the ownership. That is in any industry. I'm a partner at a pretty big law firm and still relate more to the employees more than the people in my shareholders meetings.

Does your law firm have a salary cap? And I am not sure I would call these players your typical underpaid hard working employees. They are overpaid as it is.

That being said its all about team success and the salary cap for me. Not sure how you can root for an event, such as overpaying players, that would otherwise be the detriment to the success of your team. The more bargains you get, the better use of the money, the better the roster. In theory anyway.

I respect where you're coming from but none of these franchises are suffering in the least so paying their partners well (and yes the players are their partners due to collective bargaining) is ok with me.

The hard cap of the NFL needs to go IMO or they need to copy the structure of the NBA where there are exceptions to the hard cap which allows teams to keep their star players (Bird Rule). The NFL owners are greedy though so doubt it ever occurs.

I just want a better roster. And if these self entitled, overpaid babies like Dak get 40 million instead of 35 million then my team suffers.

I have no sympathy whatever for these players. Part time job, play 17 games a year and collect more money in one year then most will ever make in a lifetime of success.

Owners have at least worked their butts off and taken risks. Or someone in their family has. The owners are the NFL, not the players. Players come and go. Its the Dallas Cowboys that people truly love, not Dak Prescott or Zeke Elliott.

The biggest mistake all these big sports leagues made was when they started promoting the athlete instead of the team. Its gotten so far out of hand these days that its truly gone to their heads. Look at what is happening in the NBA. The top players like Lebron and Leonard go around deciding who goes where and who wins titles. Owners, teams, coaches have little to no control anymore.

Players disrespect owners, coaches, each other and get away with it. Lebron can ruin a franchise and make a franchise.

Kawai wants Paul George on his team, they both force the Pacers to trade for him. George tells the Pacers to trade him or he wont resign and they will get nothing. Its madness. And the rest of the teams and fans just have to sit back and watch and know that your team isnt winning diddly. You have to hope one of these big self entitled superstars picks your team. Pathetic.

Looks like your ears were burning. Don't worry, it's gonna happen any day now... and when it does you'll look a little less stupid.

When it does happen you will look even more stupid. AS if that is really possible?

The culmination of 4 straight years of being completely wrong about Dak Prescott. :yourock::yourock::yourock:

You must be proud!!!

Sure it will, pal! Any day now! These reports always come out that things are close, Dak slobberers start dancing around, and then nothing happens. In a couple of weeks you'll go back to hiding under your rock. But you've been wrong for going on two years now, what's a few more days?
