Be a fan of any player you want , does it bother you people think different than some or have other views on players ability???? You missed the point entirely on W|L records.
You're the one that attributed the 8-8 record for a Prescott bash attempt. Then try to turn it around blaming others of doing it to fit their narrative? What a great contribution!

130 is too small my friend. Hit the taquerias! Some solid Mexican food will get that gut back up.

As far as Dak is concerned. I don't really care. Sign him, trade him, cut him up and make a chunky stew...
Whatever.
You are too funny..

You must love the smell of burnt napalm in the morning..you are up early.

So your post begs the question..

3rd and long?

What does that indicate?

To me it says we are getting into too many 3rd and longs and that leads to more failure.

So why is that?

What are Dak's stats on downs 1-2?

It would appear he is not getting downfield alot..

that possibly he is not as productive there and then it makes everything be dependent on 3rd downs.

It would also indicate that on early downs passing is reduced to short throws..

like to Zeke, Witten and Pollard.

Stats are fine but I always chuckle at people who want to selectively use them to support whatever point they are pushing.

Other factors like the playcalling by Moore affect how Dak has to perform. So many things that have to be weighed.

Good try..but got to give you an 'incomplete' here.

Try again.
3rd and 5+ isn't clear enough for you?

Pretty darn good. Just a reminder of how accurate Dak was under duress on 3rd & long in 2019. Here's to a better 2020.

Cheers!!! :flagwave:

But...but...I've read here repeatedly about his inaccuracy.

It's as if some of our fans don't watch any other teams, only see Dak's misses, and assume he's worse than everyone else.

I'm not even sure he's a Cowboys fan considering the Cowboys organization loves them some Dak!

Probably an eagles fan...

Has to be. What devoted Cowboys fan would hate a 4th round pick QB that:

-Won Rookie of the year
-Two pro bowls
-44-24 team record in his first 4 years
-two trips to the playoffs
-Playoff win
-Led the #1 offense in 2019
-In 2019 was 1 yard shy of the Cowboys all time passing record

All in just his 4th year in the league and about to enter his prime? (Even with Garrett as his HC)

Has to be an Eagles fan.

He was so accurate late in the patriots, vikings, eagles games that were crucial. So accurate.
Don't let facts get in the way of a fun fantasy story.

Anymore, I get the feeling I am being baited around here like gator in a swamp.

I have been watching too many of these Swamp Hunter reality TV shows since having to stay home.

Got to stop that. Been getting a hankering for fried gator tail.

On 1st downs he has a 57% success rate which is 3rd in the nfl and 7.8 Y/A which is 10th in the NFL.

On 2nd downs he has a 54% success rate which is 1st int the NFL and 8.3 Y/A which is 2nd in the NFL.

Combine 1st and 2nd downs he has a 56% success rate which is 1st in the NFL and 8.1 Y/A which is 2nd in the NFL.

Pretty impressive. A far cry from his doubters claims that he’s inaccurate.

And yet so many people claim the QB needs paid because "he handles the ball the most and has the most responsibility".

Unless it's NOT convenient to the agenda at hand.

Now....I ain't saying 8-8 is all Dak. I'm just saying "the QB handles the ball the most and has the most responsibility".

Come on man....now you know that those stats are manipulated by those that keep up with those stats to make Dak feel better about himself. There's a rumor that Jerry has cornered the market on NFL stats just for that very reason!

Good bro.

I hate googling stuff like that.

My eyes go buggy.

So..all of this means what?

We have the hottest QB in the NFL..?

He just can't beat teams with winning records?

And barely beats teams with losing records or run up scores on hapless teams like the Commanders to get his wins and inflate his stats.?

Does that register at all?

It does to me. But what would I know about Cowboy football after 50 years of following them?

Not much, huh?

I think he's a top 12 QB with top 5 upside, especially when Cooper, Gallup and Elliott are all healthy. Gotta pay the man, Jerry.

QBs are judged by wins and losses.

Distract if you want to.

But until Dak actually earns a World Championship..he's second or 3rd level at his position.

Sorry. Spin Doctors you may post threads until the servers choke.

But that will not change until Dak does.

Jerrah has built a team of super stars for Dak. Still he stumbles along producing only promises.

This is going to end soon.

Can't wait until its over.
