Dak’s not much of a playmaker and against good teams Dak disappears. He’s our Alex Smith.. A little better then Alex but not by much.

Not only that but on 3rd and 4+ Dak only completed 59.5% of his passes altogether - so somehow we are to believe that of these 75 completions at a rate of 59.5%, and a conversion rate on these passes of 41% that he was accurate 64% of the time!

So he had that many drops on 3rd down and that many passes deflected, not counting the passes that were in-accurate that were caught!

Hello? Cowboys were the league leaders in passes dropped. But I guess in your view, that is also Dak's fault?

For the record, I'm against Dak getting paid top overall pay. I've made my stance very clear about that for months now, so don't be falsely accusing me of supporting something I actually don't just because I like Dak.

I know how good Prescott is I know how bad he is. To me it was all about coaching. And you can’t judge any talent on this team the past three seasons because of that. He’s been brilliant and he’s been horrible. Last season was probably his most consistent. I think dink and dunk was his best . Nope everybody wanted to open it up. And he succeeded there. But without balance we lost the games where he got 500 yard plus. And I put that all on coaching. I think the kid is a winner so

I understand that, but that means, by your exclusion there, that he was more accurate on 3rd and 5+ than he was on 3rd and less since his completion % is lower on an overall basis. His conversion rate on 3rd and 4+ was 41% so that means he had to have a ton of drops and knockdowns and does not account for passes caught that were inaccurate.

It does not add up! Does not pass the reasonableness test.

Not sure what to tell you. I have no clue what it is for, to the sticks on 3rd and 4 or less. I do know this though, his success rate on 3rd and 4 or less was a around league avg and his Y/A was slightly above league avg. He had a 52% success rate which put him at 17th in the NFL and a 7.3 Y/A which put him at 11. But his success rate on 3rd and 5 and more was #3 in the NFL at 37% and #2 in the NFL in Y/A at 9.6.
