Ya think? Noooo, not ole Red. :muttley:

:laugh::clap:

 You said that to say what? Rodgers & Brees didn't win their ONLY Superbowl in their 4th year in the NFL either. Carr never even won a playoff. And the other ones you had mentioned have been in the league much longer than 4 years. Not a very good comparison whatsoever.
EXACTLY!
What makes you think the poster is a "gent"? F.Y.I the smart one's are the lady posters! :p

All these people criticizing 8-8.

it was jason garretts last year. 8-8 was destiny. No player could overcome that kind of energy from the universe.

They could've went 8-8 and made the playoffs, but it's only fitting they went with the second option of going 8-8 and sitting home. That energy is real. It was exactly what you expected to happen. The Garrett curse was alive and well.

Wow I kind of forgot how awful the throw actually was.
Great clip Swagger . Amazing how many fans and analysts forget Dak’s meltdowns at critical times . This is a simple throw .A big sign of mediocrity or worse . The difference between a winning team and a losing one hangs usually on 3-4 plays at critical games .just ask Brady , Aaron ,Brees , etc . Good QBs show up at critical games . More importantly , the body language . No emotion , no drive . Just a casual walk back to the sideline .

Lol... Almost all of those guys have a similar record against good teams.

Yep, he is so accurate!

1 stupid pass where Dak was falling back while Zeke kept fading towards the sideline. It happens, especially when you don't practice it that much. What was Cooper and Cobb doing standing on the sidelines during that play with the game on the line? That's the more important question you should be asking.

Not nearly as bad as Dak’s record . Plus , all have taken their teams to Super Bowls and won . Dak is very far from any of this . It is not all his fault of course but he has regressed and fails to show up in important games .

I honestly could sympathize a tiny bit with the ROMO haters even though I wasn't one of them. With romo he had a knack for throwing interceptions and doing stupid stuff at the worst possible times, it was almost uncanny.. I remember thinking to myself if it was a big game I better close my eyes and hold my breath. Don't get me wrong, I liked Romo, but just about all other fans around the league wanted to face romo because they knew he would do something ridiculous in big games! For better or worse he proved them right time and time again. I remember after Dak played his first season loving the fact that we had a QB whom was built like a tank and protected the football in crucial moments.

He had a bad year last year in critical times but you can't ignore his first 3 years in the league in crunch time. I know its easy for you guys to do because it makes him look good. One bad year in the crunch time seems more like a anomaly than the standard....

Any time you someone brings a good point up you guys push the goal post back.....he said most elite quarterbacks have bad records against good teams.....yet you push he goal post back to "Well....errhhh..duhhhh....he hasn't been to a Super Bowl and WON". So basically only elite guys in the league are Eli Manning, Joe Flacco, Aaron Rodgers, Ben R, Mahomes, Russ and Brady.

I don't think he's regressed, but I don't think he's super-great shakes either.

It is very very rare for a QB to regress after 4 years in the NFL , especially behind a top OL, RB, WR , and a talented offensive coordinator. unless jason is that incredibly bad . What worries me is that Dak will be further exposed next season . It will mean the cowboys are stuck with him 4-5 years . It is so risky .

I guess you didn’t see
The great Mahomes in the Super Bowl He stunk it up way worse. Overthrows Under throws. Aiming the football. Yes I’m comparing Prescott to Mahomes media lover boy Mr. hail Mary another Aaron Rodgers. No way he was MVP. He threw up a Hail Mary the receiver should’ve got MVP

Yes , Romo took many risky desperate throws , which were costly . But his fight , accuracy and ability to bring the teams back in some games makes him a superior QB talent wise than Dak . Cannot think of a game Dak brought the cowboys back .

Funny, Prescott has more fourth quarter wins than any other quarterback since he’s been in the league.

If the Cowboys had a great OL, RB and WR they would've won more than 8 games.

And how did Dak regress? He had his best statistical year of his career. So now the narrative is he got worse? 2017 is the worst year of his career.

. I remember everyone saying he couldn’t put up 400 yard passing games. And that’s all he did. But that’s not how you win ballgames we lost the balance. Every time someone says something he can’t do. He goes out and prove them wrong. I just don’t know what else we would do for quarterback if we didn’t have him. I don’t want Carson Wentz and I don’t like Jared Goff. I think we got the best quarterback in his class.
