Those who think we have a happy ending coming with our upcoming contract need to prep some.
"It is what it is" is right. The Cowboys' FO is hypocritical in saying Dak is the best, yet won't pay him as such. They're far too phony! Too bad.
Dallas/Dak is just waiting until it becomes crunch time. I remember the negotiations with Dez being the same way. Dallas stayed pat and eventually Dez signed the deal Dallas had on the table.
So I believe Dak is going to ink the deal being handed to him but he's not going to sign it until the last week. He's just holding off on the signing to see if Dallas goes up again.
Labor contracts for high dollars are always contested."It is what it is." The Cowboys' FO is being ingenuous in saying Dak is the best, yet refuses to pay him accordingly. Too bad for all concerned. If they feel his inconsistency doesn't warrant elite pay, they should say so. Deception is always a bad look.

One last thing.. Reminder for the Dak haters:
Last year: Dallas was only 172yds (Cobb) from having (3) 1000yd WRs
RBs combined for 69Rec;TEs 95Rec
All the while, our star RB had a “down season”
Zeke 301c-1357yds-12Td
Dak IS a franchise QB. Opinions vary on taste, but stats don’t lie.
Fact:W/L record last year is on the coaching, not Dak
Shannon Sharpe.Who's the horsie-looking guy?
