This guy's been on a roll with saying dumb things. For weeks now.

First it was about drafting a 1st round receiver. Then it was about how the receiver cupboard wasn't bare because we had since cut Lance Lenoir. Then it was about how trading pick #17 for Jamal Adams was 'the right decision'. To this latest series of ridiculous ramblings. He should have his Cowboys privileges revoked.

Exactly my thinking.

If they feel really strongly about Chaisson, it's worth it to make sure you get him.

But maybe they feel that Gross-Matos is a reasonable compensation prize?

I've seen a few draft guys with similar grades of Chaisson & Gross-Matos. Other guys don't see it.

Seems YGM is a polarizing prospect.

Always been a fan of Lance since my time in Houston. Smart football guy. Has us with Chaisson with Kinlaw going pick before and Herbert pick after. I feel like most mocks are too logical. I think we end up doing some moving

It seems to be common knowledge the Cowboys want Henderson or Chiasson. Therefore, I’m doubtful either will be there.
But Dallas' love for Trysten Hill at #58 last year was also public knowledge and he somehow, someway, lasted until our pick.

The Cowboys actually debated trading up from #58 to ensure they got their 2019 non-contributor.

This wound has not healed yet.

I see no chance at C.J. Henderson at #17, while K'Lavon Chiasson has a good shot at still being on the board. If both are gone, other talent is going to fall to our pick. Don't reach for a cornerback if a much better prospect is there for the taking.

They're all throwing poop at the wall to see what sticks right now. What matters is you're clicking the tweets and lots of others are as well. Bidness.

you have a point. Then again maybe nobody else wanted that bum Trysten Hill anywhere close to the 58th pick but the cowboys?

I worry other teams will actually want Chaisson

Actually, I'm not. Others are bringing his stuff here.

It's a safe bet no other NFL team viewed Tryten Hill as worthy of a second round selection, but you know he formed a great connection with Rod Marinelli, so how could we possibly resist?

It was utter madness.

Chaisson is a much more coveted prospect and he could definitely come off the board before #17, but there's a good chance he will still be there tonight..

This guy is such an idiot.
There are FA options available at QB anyway. Not to mention the holdup on Dak’s contact is number of years at this point and that the franchise tag for successive years is manageable.

He’s a tool.

the cowboys are going to use a high draft pick on a QB simply for leverage in negotiations with their current QB? Asinine and idiotic
