Teams are obviously worried about Baun's intelligence + flags.

He actually thought, and went with the "I drank too much water" after giving a diluted sample. They probably think he's a complete idiot, and wonder what he's hiding.

Well see prior to the draft IMO in order to get Lamb you would've had to have traded your 2nd round pick to get around the top 10. So yeah I probably would've guessed you got rid of some compensation from last year to get both. But yeah 3rd rounder would've been gone. Just amazing.

He’s 24 years old with one year of production, and projects as an undersized edge. And, he produced a diluted sample at the combine. It’s very understandable why he would slide.

2nd round pick comes....drafts Jalen Hurts

The 2nd rounder he didn't want to give up to get Lamb was wasted on a backup quarterback.

Help me out here what's going on.

Philly covets backup QBs more than any team in the nfl in the Lurie era. We brought in starters in Jeff Garcia, Jeff Blake, Doug Pederson, Josh McCown, Vince Young, even Vick to be backups. Foles was a third round pick we took right after giving Vick 100m$.

So if this was a third round pick for Hurts I’d say it was a great pick and makes total sense. A second is a bit much for a backup, but maybe they just thought the drop off after him was significant and there’s no way he’d still be on the board. Pederson looked super pumped to get him.

Some people said he might be our Taysom Hill, which I think is stupid because Carson is our Brees AND our Taysom Hill. I don’t think it means somethings wrong with carson, it’s genuinely an overly valued no. 2 QB.

Nothing wrong with placing value on QB2 (especially when QB1 has an injury history), but yeah, a second round pick seems a bit high.

I wouldn't mind the Cowboys taking a QB tomorrow. Not to replace Dak, I just don't think much of Cooper Rush.
