All these Eagles fans don’t realize how bad the pick truly is. I’m an OU fan and Hurts is not a NFL quality passer. He has all the problems Dak has multiplied by 10. His accuracy, decision making under pressure and ability to read defenses is bottom tier. Guys like him used to be drafted in the late rounds, now everyone wants Lamar Jackson.

His accuracy, decision making under pressure and ability to read defenses is bottom tier. Guys like him used to be drafted in the late rounds, now everyone wants Lamar Jackson.

I watch OU too and Hurts will last as long as Manziel did

Hurts couldn’t excel at OU or Alabama because he is not great at reading defenses . His first instinct is to run . He got hit a lot , but he is a fighter . He is a better runner than Dak . But his accuracy is probably similar to Dak’s . Overall I think he will be lucky to become a starter . Most likely be used in wildcat or running situations or to kill a game off .

I watched Dak and Hurts all last year. Hurts makes Dak look like Aikman in terms of accuracy.

I agree- but to say Dak Prescott "has problems"...

Dak threw for nearly 5000 yards last season and is putting together a potential HOF resume.

He's not a top 5 QB but he's no bum.

Someone should tell Howie how the whole “quarterback factory” thing works. You draft mid round QBs then trade them later for 1’s or 2’s. That means you don’t pick them in the second, not with so many great players on the board.

We lucked out, honestly. The Eagles could have drafted Mims.
