When the only people that have heard of the guy they just drafted are the scouts and they are documented as loving the guy days before, they are doing their job well. They dug up another diamond in the rough when they picked CB Reggie Robinson in the 4th round.
I can almost forgive the last 2 drafts by how good this one is going so far, the only thing different about our brass here is Mike McCarthy, wonder if he's influencing some of the picks..

The Draft Network

Tulsa cornerback Reggie Robinson developed nicely throughout his career after playing safety in high school. The switch flipped as a senior in 2019 where he was fifth in the FBS with 17 pass breakups and logged four interceptions. While Robinson has technical work needed in every coverage concept, he isn’t limited. There are positive reps in man, press and zone making him a versatile prospect that plays a physical brand of football and can make plays on the football. His development will now continue at the next level where his ceiling is exciting as he continues to develop his technique given his impressive physical traits and alpha mentality. Robinson profiles as a starting outside corner by Year Two/Three.

The draft at this point, is all about projecting upon traits. A positive here, as he will receive enough time on the carpet this season, to justify the pick as he develops for the future!

Like this pick. Going into the draft the only CB Dallas had signed past 2020 was Anthony Brown.

Now with Trevon Diggs and Reggie Robinson, the future looks secure there.

Someone posted a comp of Robinson and Arnette calling them the same type of player and we got our guy 100 picks later

McCarthy sounded extremely pleased they were able to draft Robison so I'm willing to agree with you about his influence in this draft.

Seems to be pretty mixed reports on this guy. I dont know much about him.

Almost feels like he could be a better fit at Safety than corner, or am I off here?
I wrote this in the draft thread about him:

“Draft profile/media guys don’t really know this guy. I wouldn’t put much stock in their rankings on him.

NFL teams are much, much higher on Robinson.

Very good pick. Very“

OVERALL

A big outside corner at Tulsa who struggled to turn and run with speedy receivers, Robinson will likely move inside to slot corner or safety. His 40 time shows the speed to recover, but he is still too slow to react to what's happening in front of him.

GRADE: 64

PRO COMPARISON: Kareem Jackson/Rayshawn Jenkins

Not sure if I agree with the comparison.......he reminds me, Antonio Cromartie, with long arms, lots of pass breakups.
