Dak hasn't shown the maturity to lead the Cowboys on the field or off.
He needs to see what life is like behind the offensive line of one of the other 31 teams and what it's like to actually have to produce in order to keep his job.
This haggling over his contract because he thinks he should be paid like he's the best is making me sick to my stomach to watch.
He doesn't produce when the team needs him to lead, and apparently feels as if he is special even though he choked through the entire 2019 season.
It's time to end this privileged mentality instilled by Garrett once and for all.

Now come one Mr Wentz, at least you got a superbowl ring when you got injured! No need to come to our forums and berate Dak.

no. All they would get is probably 3rd round compensatory pick. Dallas doesn't need cap space now because all good FA have already signed. You want to force Dak to sign franchise tag to play this year or to trade him for much much more than 3rd round pick.

you are actaully trying to compare Aikman to Dak ?
when Dak gets the cowboys to 1 super bowl , then dak can be in the discussion . Until then dak is 1-6 against winning teams last year , and the team is 8-8 . Time to wake up ,
I agree. This is a good assessment of where we are. without saying whether Dak is this or that. this is the reality.

So when is Dak getting the big contract that he was guaranteed by folks on this board? Because I recall checking in realizing you were considered very stupid if you questioned him getting a big contract and as a matter of fact, you were advised to get used to the idea. Dont get me wrong he is being paid a lot of money. Millions of dollars for some hard work. But folks were shamed for even questioning if we would get "the big contract".

Winston's fate.... Superbowl Guru QB coach and possible heir apparent to Brees...

Dak could be so lucky only difference he'll get at least $100M guaranteed...

Serious question @PAPPYDOG?

Is there any level of success that will change your tune on Dak?

What exactly does Dak's contributions have to be in order see improvement?

Thanks in advance!

Since 2016 its all downhill for us and Dak.
As QB he influences our destiny more than any other player.
His flaws are many and have been posted here numerous times.
He claims to fame are beating up on Dog teams and falling like a cheap deck of cards against good defenses.
8-8 do it for you bud?
Probably as you are a Dak fan first then again who knows what team you support as I believe when Dak leaves you will follow him.....

Nope I won't follow Dak if he leaves. In fact, I concluded that play on Franchise Tag and then assess is best option for our Cowboys.

Are you going to answer my questions

Exactly . Plus there is no comparison between Dak and Aikman . Aikman is superior in accuracy, decision making , reading defenses , and poise .

Yah, but he needed the perfect team around him. LOL

61.5% completions. 165 TD's/141 INT's. = superior accuracy. lol. I followed Aikman's career from day 1. How'd Aikman do when Irvin or Emmitt sat?

Yah, and Aikmans deep ball was horrendous. Couldn't make a comeback to save his life.

Leadership, toughness, poise and short to middle accuracy was off the charts. But his touch on deep passes was off. And certainly whenever ANY part of his HOF cast was out he couldn't do anything.

Once that Oline started to faulter he simply got killed and couldn't function. He was NOT savy in the pocket. HE hung in there though.

I’ve been gone for a while. Your posts are still as stupid as before.

Why do you continue to repeat this over and over? Attention? Obsession? Stupidity?:)

Ill will go with attention and stupidity!!!!!

This is blatant trolling. Needs to be deleted or moved to the Drama board.

So we should rescind the tag and let Dak walk?

Who exactly is going to be our QB then?

Cooper Rush? That dude we just drafted in the 7th?

Yeah, that's a brilliant strategy. Maybe we should trade Zeke for a punter while we are at it to teach him a lesson for his holdout.

The difference between Aikman and Dak was Aikman's leadership capabilities and his determination to succeed.
You don't see that in Dak. He goes into the field and if it works, he's happy, but if it doesn't work he doesn't seem to feel as if it's a problem.
When the Cowboys are playing weak teams and beating up on them, Dak is all smiles. But when the team isn't able to have it easy, Dak can't be counted on to drive them to be better.
He just doesn't have that mentality. He seems to think it's not his responsibility to lead, and it's somebody else's fault when they struggle.
He's Jason Garrett 2.0.

fanzone should trade leeblair for a bag of peanuts, he hasn't shown he has the brain's to think and a single cell brained organism is not worthy of being on fanzone.

btw, tashard choice called and said he appreciated you calling him as good as emmitt smith...LOL

The Cowboys messed up by not going after Case Keenum or Marcus Mariota.
But they still could get Derek Carr or possibly Deshaun Watson if they went after them according to some reports.
Dak is okay, but he's not a leader and definitely not a $30 million per year talent. Not yet, anyway.

OMG.

Please tell us how you really feel.

Don't hold back. Let it out.

Holding things in will age you prematurely.

Now go ahead. Most of us are taking notes.
