You never know but how many Brady’s have come along? They were fans with big dreams for Mike White a couple of years ago who we drafted in the fifth round. I’m not saying the DiNucci has zero chance but the odds don’t favor him or he would have been drafted higher.
You are right of course. I just think he beats out Rush. Both White and Rush have big downsides; not sure what DiNucci's is.

You can almost bet the farm that if we have a training camp and preseason this year and DiNucci has a solid preseason the Dak haters are going to be talking him up to replace Dak. It’s not hard to predict where this is going to go. The day we drafted Mike White a Dak hater posted that White was already the best QB we have on the team. lol Most of this fan base isn’t looking for a backup QB they want to replace Dak.

You're not wrong. I just want to be clear. I'm not angling for DiNucci to replace Dak any time soon. I think he's going to make an excellent backup QB, and I'm curious to see how he'll do competing as time goes on. I will support all of our players as long as they have the star. And i will support Dak as long as he's starting. But, this will also be fun to see what I think will be a competent backup being available to us and being tutored by an excellent coach.

He may have to beat out Rush to stay with us. Looks like the kind of guy who would not make it to the practice squad. Matt Moore II.

Sorry, not even close. Matt Moore had a career 58% completion percentage in college and a total through four years, of negative rushing yards.

There is no comparison between Moore and DiNucci. The comparison is Romo. It’s impossible not to watch that tape and see #9.

Now as BP likes to say, let’s not break out the anointing oil just yet. But he has all the tools; he will beat out Rush in training camp and hopefully McCarthy and K.Moore can work their magic with him.

Still very early to have a high ceiling for Romo part II here.
If he surpasses Rush well Dak better be on notice when he starts falling apart against good defenses.

I thinking they will be using one of those extra spots on a developmental QB. What’s the point of revealing your intention to draft QBs regularly to keep developing them if you aren’t going to keep them. I’m thinking we will see 3 QBs from now on..

He can develop on the ps.

I know some said it in the OP above, but watching video of him reminds me of Tony Romo in a lot of ways. Throws accurate on the run, runs the ball, escapes pressure, accurate.... Really liking this guy.
Anyways, here is a highlight video that shows alot more of his game

Mike did not draft this kid to replace Dak. He will be groomed while serving as Dak's backup. The Cowboys will eventually get their investment in him back through free agency. He will be farmed out and then Mike will go get another pet project. Dak is our guy, folks. We are keeping him. For you Dak haters out there, this must be a tough pill for you to swallow. "The Nooch" is just a pet project of Mike's, not meant to ever play in games unless Dak gets hurt.

Better tell that to Jerry as money talks and crazy talk walks.....

Looks like a Young Aaron Rodgers to me.

Just a very natural passer. Can zip the Ball with ease. He seems very fluid, can make any throws, Sidearm, on the Run. Puts it on the #.

Can also run a bit.

I really like his Tape. Lets see if hes another Mike White or can really become something.

To me he looks like what I would expect to see a high school version of Aaron Rodgers looking like..

His frame is just so skinny.

His play style is my favorite for a QB but I question his size and power.

He’s listed as 6’3 210. He doesn’t even look that heavy.
