Better tell that to Jerry as money talks and crazy talk walks.....
Which is why I never pay attention to your crazy talk. We have never conversed because I don't buy your BS. Keep that in mind the next time you have the urge to add your 2 cents to a conversation I'm in. Your BS artistry is completely filtered out.

Dak i'm sure wanted to play (as in Rush probably had zero practice snaps).

If his play was THAT bad (because he was injured), and it was, Rush should have been in there...that Dak stayed in and played badly says all you need to know about Rush.

You're a Dak-Zoid first and foremost and God knows if truly support our Cowboys?
Go sell inept Dak now as it seems it's all you and the other Dak employees do here every day.

P.S. Where's that massive contract, you guys have been posting Dak will get since 2 springs ago?:omg:NOWHERE....heck even Watson and Mahomes will get theirs and Dak to the short bus!:banghead:

I think like most of us, I was puzzled when I heard DiNucci’s name called. I thought they’d go with Gordon if they went QB, but really I thought they’d pick either Benito Jones or Thaddeus Moss.

But I’ve started to read about Mike McCarthy’s new pet project and people are saying some amazing things about him.

If you read one Cowboys’ article today, read this one.

https://www.bluechipscouting.com/ar...d-a-controlled-play-maker-to-back-up-prescott

Start there. That’s about as in-depth an article that you will ever read for a 7th round pick. Here are some highlights.

About his accuracy..

About his decision making and ability to read defenses...

“He’s very accurate” is what McCarthy said.

I’d say so, 70.9% completion percentage (stats) and boy does he put the ball right on the money. Throws well on the run too.

Did I mention that the kid can scramble away from pressure and get first downs? In 2019 he ran for 569 yards and 7 touchdowns (his o-line wasn’t very good so a lot of the time he was running for his life)

I’ll just leave this last tweet here without comment. :)

Definitely looks crafty, I like the romo comparison. However, that throw where he side steps and hits the first down is a basic play. Easy read on the blitz and he simply has to avoid the rusher before he gets it there. Easy throw.

I know some said it in the OP above, but watching video of him reminds me of Tony Romo in a lot of ways. Throws accurate on the run, runs the ball, escapes pressure, accurate.... Really liking this guy.
Anyways, here is a highlight video that shows alot more of his game

Ok after watching this video (much better than the tweet vids by the way) I can see the resemblance between him and Romo/Rodgers. I absolutely loved Romo but this kid has a lot better arm than Tony did when he first started out, not as strong as Rodgers but still strong. He seems to have that effortless looking flick for 40 yards like Rodgers does. I'm rooting for him to do well. I'm rooting for Dak as long as we can sign him to a reasonable deal but if this kid turns out better then so be it.

Thanks for the effort in putting this post together, I definitely enjoyed watching/reading it.

Who knows what the kind might turn into, but I like the pick, especially in the 7th round.

To be real, he will be the 3rd QB In camp. That’s not a lot of reps.

Give him an off season or two.

Great post!

I knew nothing of Ben. So I spent over 2 hours reading about him and watching some videos Saturday night. I have to admit I was blown away and couldn't believe there was no news about him before the draft. It was easy to see why he didn't make it to post draft udfa territory. This kid can straight up throw the football.

Rush has every reason to worry about his roster spot. In fact, I expect him to lose it. Much of how DiNucci plays reminds me a lot of Romo. The same Romo moxie we saw for years was on video. I'm thrilled with this pick and can't wait to see him summer 2021 after a year in the system.
Well done, I feel the exact same way.

What? Dak is a competitor. Again, Dak wanted to play. Romo played with broken ribs. Zeke only got 13 carries. If the coaches wanted to win, maybe Zeke should have been used more.

Wow, this young quarterback is impressive. Great 7th round pick push by McCarthy. He can throw accurately on the run, different angles and he is accurate. Best of all he has that fighter spirit in him.

It will be exciting to see him develop under McCarthy. Let's not forget Romo had a few years of sideline time before he became a starter.

His height is fine but there's not a lot of meat on dem bones!

You know some guys are lanky, and not bulk muscular but have muscle tissue that is dense. They are deceivingly strong and durable. Randall Cunningham like.

I do not agree with your opinions much (which is fine, I still think you are a good poster) but I think you are 100% correct here. I'm not sure Dak is the guy but he is every bit the competitor that Tony was. And that's saying something imo.
