I have very little doubt he misses even one OTA...if they happen.

Because they arent, I see no rush. If I'm Jerry, I'd write that signing bonus check later than sooner.

He definitely wont miss a day of camp because neither side wants to miss the July 15 deadline.

Again, if the issue is simply years and Dak's camp is holding out for 4, then he's the one closer to being unreasonable than the Cowboy who see the benefit in a longer term deal for cap purposes, etc.

I like dak. I like DAk at a fair price. I won’t like DAk if he gets paid big time and is just a above average qb
well hes not just an avg qb.

Everytime he's play the "elite" guys he's played with them or even better. He's outplayed Rodgers, Goff, and Wilson in his playoff games. Its not his fault the defense couldnt stop the rams or packers. Daks rookie yr he was great in close games winning on late drives. Then from 2017-2019 the offensive coaches tried to get cute and them close games started to go the other way.

Dak deserves to be paid higher than Wentz and Goff because he's played better and has out performed them. Its not his fault the market is overpaying QBs.

It really is ridiculous how long this is taking.

What's the rush is what I don't get, He's franchised for one more year, I don't think Jerry or Steven are in a big rush to get him signed, and I think they want to see how does in McCarthy's offense. Dak needs to prove he can lead this team because too many times he's horrible in games with his accuracy..

It is better for the cap in the long run if a long term deal can get done as opposed to play on the franchise tender for a year and re-sign him after.

I actually blame Dak for this one.
That's where I'm at as well.

There's no doubt that I agree that Dak deserves a pay raise. No question about it.

But the route in which he has taken is pretty ridiculous and getting old.

This team has set him up with about every damn weapon that a QB would be thankful to have at their disposal and he's having the attitude of wanting to take his football and go home.

I'll be so happy once this drama is over and part of me is hoping that he gets a 4 year deal, that DiNucci (or any one for that matter works out) and we can move on so we don't have to go through this nonsense again.

Well, he may or may not be the quarterback under McCarthy to lead this team in the future, then your stuck with huge dead money on the cap...is that better for the team in the long run?
