Possible Teams if Dak’s franchise tag is rescinded

The only option for Dak is to compromise with our owner and get the deal done. He is not going anywhere but to play along with this the one team that makes sense to me of those 5 are the Deadskins. The others have starting QB's and he isn't backing anyone up. Can you imagine him going to the Skins?

The Patriots QBs are Stidham, Hoyer, and Lewerke. Two of them have never started an NFL game and the other is Brian Hoyer.

I would add the Bears to the original list. They're done with Trubisky and Foles still hasn't shown he can do anything outside of Philadelphia.

If the tag is rescinded like @leeblair mentioned these are the teams that I believe will make room to get Dak. In spite Dak will take a back loaded contract just to get even with Jerry.

1. Pittsburgh
2. Raiders
3. Patriots
4. Atlanta
5. Commanders

first of all, Lee is a troll. he always picks a controversial subject, provides no logical argument and just likes to hammer it in, usually a subject that he knows will be available to argue for several years...and then he picks the next stupid subject to argue..

for example he thought Kellen Moore has HOF potential, he argued that one throw from Kellen (actually interception right to the safety) convinced him that he has what it takes to replace Romo and be a HOF QB....he was in love with Tashard Choice and argued he is better than Emmitt smith...
He has had a bit of bad luck in his life, an alcoholic, who spent sometimes in Jail for cheating people, ran his business to the ground and was kicked off of bleacher report after one article (early bleacher report, when it first started and was taking freelancing writers)

but add these teams to the list
Detroit,
Colts
Jacksonville
Broncos
Bears

lol @ "should sue for slander" while considering just how often sports talks hosts have made such claims for decades, about countless athletes, who have never sued.

If I was Dak I would take him to court after I sign 31 million tag just to bankrupt his *** on legal fees.

I bet Pittsburgh / Atl offers him 30 million plus, and Jerry got call for a possible trade. Why would he use the exclusive franchise tag if he wasn’t worried about other teams snatching him up. Makes no sense.

How would they do this and if they did, why wouldn't Dak just accept the offer submitted from Dallas. If he signed a deal with the Falcons or the Steelers, even if either of those teams could afford it, which they can't, he would make less money. Why would he agree to go to a team only to make less money?

Also Skip Bayless is lying when he keeps repeating Dak wants 40 million dollars a year, it’s actually a talking point given out by the Dallas P.R. on behalf of Jerry’s orders.

Dak should sue Skip Bayless for his slander and possibly costing him millions.

One, you don't know if he's lying or not. Two, even if he is lying it's not slander.

Yeah true. The way they operate BB would sell him on the glory that will follow and manage to get a team friendly deal. Although I agree, its a huge long shot.

He might be able to try that with Dak but France will not go for any of that. That dude is all about the money.

Three of the teams you mentioned already have QBs on contracts that exceed 25 million per season, and one has a well known mantra against paying players big money.

This is my understanding as well.
If they can agree for him to sign the tag w/ them having the ability to seek a trade before the July deadline.
I think both camps make out this way:
Dallas gets draft ammo next year
Dak gets his money (if traded) or plays under the tag for a year. We get another year. If he performs well, then we do this again next year.
We now have a backup that can step in for the year if need be.
or
if Dak plays under the tag
let the 2 battle for the starting job, something Romo wasn't granted after being benched for the season.
"Best" players should always be the starter !
...alright, fire away...
so what's the plan for replacing the QB? Dalton is not the long term answer....and he is not going to lead any team to any promiseland...so I guess you expect Danucci to turn into something special

I don't get the Foles part. I mean, if you trade for Dak, you are trading for a player that has never done anything outside of Dallas. I don't think that plays well.

Deadskins are the only other team stupid enough to pay Dak 30m plus. Dak's other option is to follow his greatest fan to NYG.

I am not even sure any of those teams would have tagged him for 31M. NE didn't even want to pay Brady what TB did to keep him. The only team on that list that might take a shot would be the Skins, if they not 100% on Haskins.

when was the last time a player not under contract get traded?

and second when was the last time a player under tag get traded?

obviously, the details of finding the trade partner and signing the tag would have to be worked out.

lets be clear here. if dak is not a cowboy, i really dont care what happens except we gets as much as possible for our commodity.
