Dumb move he's young, experienced and good so why cut him? You draft players hoping they become pro bowlers, then when they do now they cost too much. Give me a break.

I agree with you in saying it was a dumb move, especially for someone who went to the last 3 probowls. However, New Orleans didn't draft him, they signed him to a 4 year $34 million contract as a free agent. Detroit drafted him.

I wanted Warford back in the draft of 2013. Was surprised he slipped to the 3rd rd and we STILL didn't take him!
Me too. I was hoping hard Dallas would draft him. Right now, I think he would cost too much, and at 28 he probably not ring chasing over securing a bag.

But, hey if Stephen nem go get I'd be super supportive of that move.

He will be too expensive
Right?

Like we need another Pro Bowl guy and his beefy contract.

I say go get Earl Thomas. There is a position of need.

If we sign another OL, people will think we must be the elephant graveyard..

the place where OL go to die.

Hmmmm..

He’s made the Pro Bowl three straight years. He’s only 28 years old.

Sign him up and let McGovern, Biadasz, and Looney and battle out for center. Make Williams the swing tackle. Boom.

Sure lets waste more of our cap on the offline.
At this point, it will be cheaper to build the China Wall instead of paying for all these non-Playmakers.
How about we go get a stud Def-lineman????

Ruiz was drafted to play G in New Orleans. It's why I coveted the player for the Cowboys if they moved down a little. He'd have given them flexibility to get their best 5 OL on the field.

Thanks, didn't remember that.

Dak's agent would faint if we signed this guy
I bet he would.

He'd be like "you want to draft a 1st round receiver and upgrade the weakest postion of the o-line ? my clients gonna break some records next season, good thing your not making his job tough"

Got Cam Erving that can play OG or C. We do not need a pure G with young talent like McGovern, Williams, and Wichmann on the roster.

isn't Cesar more of a center than he is a OG ?
And to cut a still young pro bowler OG like warford ? i wonder what was up with that unexpected move by the Saints
They are cash strapped paying Brees,Winston, and Hill in free agency.

I agree, actually.

But if we could somehow get him for cheap just because he wants to be a part of the best line in football, it’s worth asking. Would really help ease the pain of losing Frederick.

Tyron-Warford-Biadasz-Martin-Collins
Williams-Erving-McGovern-Looney

That would be incredible.
Warford’s a stud.
