But Lawrence has been giving back long before now....so why now is it not a sense of charity?
That's great that he's been giving to charity, and I love what Jaylon does off the field for the community as well. Think of it this way: What would you think if Jerry plastered his name all over masks and gave them out? Actually, I don't know how you'd feel about that, but I'm quite certain 95% of this board would say he's only doing it to promote his own interests.

Now I don't think that's the only reason these guys are doing it, but I think more people would want to use them if the logo wasn't so prominent.

I’d have a issue with Jerry if he did that and I’d have a issue if Lawrence put his name all over them.

Look, it's a silly nickname for a couple of reasons

1. The person who came up with the name isn't even on the team anymore, heck, Crawford and Lawrence are the only ones left. Is Seattle still the Legion of Boom because they still have one LB still clinging on? No

2. They have been good/decent the past couple years, but not good enough to earn a nickname.....which is why nobody outside of die hard fans even know about it

I don't give two craps they are attempting to "help" people with masks (it's still a PR move), it's a silly name for a bunch of dorky dudes. It comes off as a bad 90s hip-hop or boy band group. It's just bad and Jerry, as a businessman, should have stepped in and told them how freakin lame it sounds. It's, YET AGAIN, proving we prop up mediocrity.

It's something I think they'd probably prefer to use to cover their fuzzy lumpkins.

Now you are being weird.

I know of two groups that use the Hotboyz name. The first is Lil Wayne and the second are muscle car enthusiasts. The majority of people that I know who like them are in the 18-34 age bracket.

It shouldn't be hard to understand how a 22 year old fireman might like to have something like that.

Oh please..

If you consider your post not an attack but mine is..

we differ sharply in opinion..

simple.

Don't be so thin-skinned.

:starspin:
I didn't even say anything to you. How the Hell did I attack you?...and I'm not being thin skinned, just letting you know.

I’m not gonna be like the jackasses above me. Props for giving away masks responders and essential workers. Doesn’t matter what they look like long as it protects them.

Something tells me if he gave some to Dr. Fauci, Dr. Birx and the Surgeon General, they would throw them in the trash. I've asked this question to literally hundreds of people on facebook and none have been able to answer it. If wearing a mask and social distancing is so important, then why doesn't Dr. Fauci, Dr. Birx and the SG follow those guidelines? They are the gurus of viruses??

Not trying to start a fight with you, my man. Just have to ask that question.

I can't stand the name but I appreciate his thoughtfulness.

They didn't even come up with the name and the brand name has always been awful and 99% of the people reading it won't even understand what it means.
That’s probably true
I don’t like the nickname
But what they are doing is a very good thing

Something tells me you are not qualified to speak for those three.

 The masks not being perfect in your eyes doesn't invalidate what they are trying to do.

You've basically set your standard to hazmat suits cause even the layered masks and such they're using in hospitals don't meet your standard.

Aside from Kanye, nobody would willingly choose to wear a face mask as a fashion statement in the first place. If it looks ugly, who cares?
